Mandy Mauloni graduated with a communications degree at Griffith University on the Gold Coast. While studying she spent her spare time at the Channel 7 newsroom on the Gold Coast.

After graduating she spent one day a week on work experience in the Maroochydore Newsroom.

She started working with Seven Queensland as a journalist in Maryborough, before moving to her home town of Bundaberg.
