Sunshine Coast local Jonathan Williams began his journalism studies at the University of the Sunshine Coast.

After landing the much sought after role as a Channel Seven intern in Maroochydore and interacting with the likes of Justin Veivers, Chris Pace and Rob Brough, he discovered a love for television. It was also during the internship he realised he wanted to specialise in sport coverage.

Also an experienced print writer, Jonathan was a contributor to a leading Sunshine Coast magazine 'The Weekender'.  In this capacity he got to explore his more creative side, writing mainly sporting and entertainment feature stories. With the lifestyle similar to that of the Sunshine Coast, Jonathan's transition to Cairns has come relatively easy.
