After finishing high school, Bianca received a scholarship to study law at Griffith University on the Gold Coast.
After a year of studying law, Bianca realised her true passion was journalism.
During the final year of her degree, she completed work experience at radio station Sea FM, and worked as a media advisor to a state politician. Soon she was offered a position at the RG Capital Radio Network as a casual on-air Journalist.
She also took up a position as a media adviser for a Federal MP.
It was her enthusiasm for politics that prompted her to take part in the 2003 Queensland Youth Parliament where she was elected Youth Premier.
In the same year, Bianca was also chosen as a Gold Coast Ambassador and won an International Women's Day Leadership Award.
Bianca made the leap from radio journalism to television at the end of 2003.
