Graham Hunter
Reporter - Adelaide
Graham Hunter

Graham Hunter is an award-winning journalist who has been with Seven News in Adelaide for 17 years of his 30-plus year career.

His current daily round is covering the law courts, where he is affectionately known to staff and colleagues as "Hunter - QC" for his leading – and mostly successful – role in opposing attempts to suppress information from the public.

Graham has worked in print, radio and magazines since completing his cadetship with the Adelaide Advertiser in 1975. He holds a diploma in Public Relations.

Career highlights include reporting first hand from the scene of the horrendous Granville train disaster in Sydney's west in 1977, which claimed the lives of 83 people and injured hundreds; to reporting from death row in a Sri Lankan prison on the plight of a former local sportsman condemned to death for drug smuggling.

He recently covered the shocking Snowtown bodies-in-the-barrels trial, which he described as sickening and horrific.

His passions include pistol shooting and property investment.
