Rosanna was born in Bundaberg, however her family moved to Brisbane where she grew up. She has a Bachelor of Science, majoring in psychology and a Graduate Diploma in Communication – Journalism. Rosanna achieved excellent results.
She began working as a journalist for Sunshine Television News (now Seven Local News) in Bundaberg, then Maryborough, before gaining a position in Maroochydore. There she became a presenter.
Currently she is combining her role with motherhood. Her first daughter Ruby, was born in January, 2002 and her second, Mia was born in July 2004.
She also teaches at the University of the Sunshine Coast in Journalism. Her students love her hands-on approach and the way she weaves her experience into her workshops.

Their collection includes oils, pastels and watercolours, along with modern glass and metallic sculptures.
