Rob Brough, the presenter of Seven Queensland's Local News services since 1996, has built an impressive career spanning both radio and television.
Born in Brisbane, Rob was educated at Beenleigh State High school where he played rugby league and cricket, and developed a passion for sport.
He began his media career in Charleville, working as a radio announcer before moving to radio in Toowoomba, the Gold Coast and finally Brisbane.
In Brisbane in 1984, Rob joined ABC Television's sports reporting team, where he stayed for eighteen months.
He then moved to Channel Nine Brisbane, developing a high profile as the station's senior sporting commentator during his three years tenure.
In 1989 Rob was appointed host of the Seven Network's new game show, Family Feud.
In addition to his television commitments Rob is also a tireless supporter of charities, and is heavily involved with the Asthma Foundation and SIDS.
Rob's passion is his children and Rob has taken on an active role with Junior Rugby League with development of the code and also schoolboy Rugby League.
He pursues an active lifestyle, surfing, cycling, boxing and occasionally relaxing on the beach. Rob is married with two children.
