Justin started his career at radio station 4BC in Brisbane as an on-air assistant to well-known race caller, Wayne Wilson at the tender age of 17 in 1988.
He then progressed through the on air ranks, to become a sports presenter for the Australian Radio News Network, all the time continuing his on-air racing duties.
In 1991 he moved with the entire racing team to Australia's newest TAB owned racing station 4TAB (4IP). He took on the role as number two race day announcer.
In 1995 the Queensland harness racing board hired Justin to present three television programs a week on community TV Briz 31. For eight months he was a part of the team that took harness racing into Brisbane homes lifting turnover and awareness of the sport.
At the end of '95 Justin joined the Sunshine Television Network as sports presenter and has chalked up more then 10 years in the role. He’s also performed the duties of head news reader for the 7 Queensland Network.
He anchored 7's live coverage of the Cowboys Welcome Home in 2005 and has been the head commentator for the QABL Basketball Finals and International Bullriding events that have been telecast on Seven Queensland for several years.
Justin is also the beach commentator for the Kellogg's Nutri Grain Ironman series, with the last two finals attracting crowds of more than 20,000 to Coogee Beach in Sydney.
The father of two has more than 20 documentary/sports programs to his hosting and writing credit, including the National Road Cycling Championships and 2001 XXXX Variety Bash and has called many sports including rugby league, boxing, waterpolo, showjumping, motorsport and tennis.
Justin is married to Jodi and has two children, Maddison and Jamie.
