What happened in the week Monday 18th February to Friday 22nd February (episode 4576 to 4580)

Check in here every week to see what Sal thinks of all things Summer Bay… Email your feedback to homeandaway@seven.com.au

It is all so surreal here in Summer Bay at the moment. I feel like an imposter - here I am doing what Sally is supposed to be doing; looking after the caravan park she has spent most of her life in, writing her blog that she loves doing, nurturing and protecting her little girl, while the real Sally is in hospital fighting for her life.

Everyone has been affected. The energy that thrives here in this beautiful town is stagnant, dull... we are all walking around in a daze waiting for Sally to wake up. She's my best friend, I can't even begin to fathom losing her, it is too painful a thought. I'm just trying to remain positive and strong. It's hard but I have to.... especially for Pippa. Besides, she's still with us, I'm not going to give up on her yet, Sal is one of the strongest people I've ever known, she has to pull through. I'm going to go see her now. Will be back a little later to write some more. I'll let you know how she's going and if there is any news.

Hello, I'm so happy! This morning we got the news that Sally has pulled through. It's like the whole of the Bay breathed a collective sigh of relief when news got out. So I just wanted to write her blog and let you all know. Sally's back in the Bay, Thank God! I think we're all so relieved because now Sally's back somehow we feel safer, she's just one of those people who is always there to help when things go wrong. And I've got my best friend back. I can't wait to see her.

Annie has been hit the worst I think by all the drama that has gone on in Summer Bay of late, and then with Sally's stabbing she just lost all glimmer of hope. I'm not sure what has gone on between her and Aden, but he was found dragging her drunk from the beach. We're all so shocked. How could Aden do such a thing to poor Annie, she is so innocent, it seems he's taken advantage of her vulnerable state. He's done this before, with Tammy. He's such a bad egg that guy, it makes me seethe with anger. Now Annie's in hospital with a very bad hangover and no memory of what went on.

The search is on for Johnny. He was spotted by the police but they didn't catch him. He's still out there, somewhere, and that is a very eerie feeling. I'm preying they catch him soon and put an end to this whole horrible saga. I just want Sally to be safe again. I don't want the threat of Johnny stressing her out while she is trying to recover. She doesn't need this at all. They have to catch him and put him away for good.

I'm exhausted from looking after everything while Sal's in hospital. Not that I'm complaining, I would move heaven and earth for Sal, but I need my rest, like any busy mother does. I'm just so relieved that all the people I love are OK. It's been a terribly stressful time of late. I can't wait to talk to Dan, he's been on the road over there and hasn't been able to call for a while. He doesn't know about Sal yet, it's probably a good thing, at least he won't have had the worry on top of the stress of starting a new job. He's probably looking for a place for us to live right now, I can't wait to hear from him. I'm sure he'll call tomorrow.

Well it's only a short blog this week, a quick update, I'm sure you all understand. Sally will be back home very soon so you will have her back again to keep you updated on all the Summer Bay news. She's such a trooper, the world is a better place with our Sally in it that's for sure.

Love

Leah

P.S. Tonight I will pray for all the people in my life who have gone through so much lately, and pray that they all stay safe and out of harms way.
