What happened in the week Monday September 17 - Friday September 21 (episodes 4506 - 4510)

Hello Everyone,

Something always turns up to disrupt our lives when things seem to be going relatively smoothly again. Jonah made a surprise entrance in Summer Bay just as Martha ran out of petrol, but it looks like he's staying for a while after Bruce hired him to oversee the farm.

Jail might have had an impact on him, but I'm still unsure he could change that much. Annie and Bruce are convinced he is a new person. Irene and Martha are sure the only thing that has changed is his name and try to warn everyone by arranging a meeting and putting an ad in a magazine. I went to the meeting, but Irene had to call it off because Bruce threatened to take Annie from her care if she continued causing trouble for Michael, I mean Jonah! Bruce is so stubborn sometimes, why can't he see what's best for his grandchildren without being so self-centred.

I heard through the grapevine that Jonah visited Annie at school, I'm concerned why none of the teachers, or the students, told me of this personally. It just seems strange that he's all of a sudden become best friends with Annie. Neither the police nor Irene can do anything about Jonah turning up in the Bay, technically he's done nothing wrong and is acting according to his parole. For the parents and my peace of mind hopefully he'll stay away from school grounds.

Brad and Rachel must feel hopeless about their situation too. The stress of having a half sister they didn't know about dumped on their doorstep, I can't imagine what they're going through.

I honestly miss Brad so much. I guess I tried to move back into his life too quickly when I offered to help them out with Tam, but he made it pretty clear later I'm not welcome in his affairs anymore.

Why did our relationship go to pieces so quickly? I know what I did at the wedding was wrong, but that doesn't mean I want out of his life completely. I feel so helpless when it comes to him. I just want to help him in any way I can, even if it means babysitting troubled teens, but how am I supposed to be his friend if he just shuts me out?

While Tam has complicating things between Brad and I even further, at least she is being there for Rory, despite their rough start they seem to be leaning on each other for support.

Jazz seems to have burned all her bridges with Drew this time after the stunt she tried to pull with the will. She claims to want to be a part of Drew's life so much, and I really do believe that, but she seems so misguided in how to be truly happy. She wants to have a good relationship with her son but greed got the better of her.

I'm so thankful I have Leah right now. She's been so great listening to all of my concerns. I'm off to dinner with her now, hopefully she'll have lighter topics of conversation to keep my mind off everything.

Love, Sally.
