Hello Everyone,
I can’t believe that one of my students has died! The current students seem too young to be faced with the tragedy of losing a friend.
I’m really worried about Drew and Belle. Their relationship is under strain due to the stress of the situation, but things are more serious than that, now concerning the police. Drew lied to the police about his involvement in the accident because of the stolen parts in his car. I know he loves his car, but this time he has really crossed the line.
Karma came back to him when he was arrested over the stolen parts. Jazz arranged a plea bargain to expose Dom’s involvement in the stolen parts, but before Drew could tell the police what he knows with his car as evidence, Dom torched the car. It’s no longer an issue of races or stealing girlfriends, now they could be sent to prison.
Losing Lisa puts a new perspective on my problems and trivializes them. However Mr Fisher literally lost Rory and Annie on bushwalking field trip. How am I supposed to trust a member of my staff when they’re that irresponsible to lose their students and not even take responsibility for their actions? It's so unlike Don, he's such an experienced teacher.
I was facing the harsh reality that I would have to ask him to resign, but thankfully he did the job for me. He told me that his heart wasn’t in teaching anymore, he was just trying to raise enough money to buy a plane ticket to visit Marilyn in the UK. I do understand but I will be sad to see him go.
Luckily Geoff and Annie were found walking by the road by Cassie and Henk. While everyone is happy that they’re no longer lost, it is obvious that Cassie and Henk are getting involved and I'm very uncomfortable with that because he is so much older than Cassie and she has been so hurt in the past.
Sam also won’t be happy to find that in the midst of her new engagement to Jack, he technically isn’t single. Martha tore up the divorce papers and never told him about that. What is she holding onto? Only feelings of a former relationship that seems to lost all of its potential. Jack makes it clear to her that he is done with her and is very content with Sam.
Maybe I’m acting like Martha, holding onto the notion of a happy relationship with Brad while I’m actually really uneasy about it inside. In theory it seems perfect, but I can’t bring myself to face the reality that I’m not happy now. All signs are pointing in this direction. So many things seem to be going wrong, Henk hurt his finger and then the broken mirror at my hen party. Seven years bad luck…with Brad? Or my relationships in general?
I might just reading into this too much. I do love Brad and I really need to get all of these things straightened out in my head while helping the students cope with their grief over Lisa.
Love, Sally
