Hello Everyone,
Well, it’s been a long time now since I’ve had a quiet week and this week is no exception. I think the first thing I’ll mention – because I want to get it out and move on from it – is that I remembered who stabbed me.
It was Rocco.
I then made the mistake of telling Ric without thinking what he might do. He’s so upset about what happened to me, he stormed off to the prison to talk to Johnny and managed to find out where Rocco might be hiding.
When we arrived at the house Johnny told Ric about, we found Ric standing over a badly beaten Rocco. We called an ambulance and now Rocco’s in hospital in a coma. Ric says he didn’t do it and we believe him, but it doesn’t look good. Those two fought earlier in the day when Rocco first tried to get away and now it looks like Ric killed him.
Rocco’s near to death and Ric might be arrested. It’s just awful…
One of the few good moments this week was when Cassie came back. I miss her and I’m not convinced she’s entirely happy down in the city. I think maybe Macca’s controlling nature has returned and I think Cassie misses all of us. I’d like to see her come home, but I don’t know how that would go down with Macca.
Peter and Amanda were having some relationship difficulties this week as well, but now I hear they’re engaged. First they were fighting over some flowers some guy sent to Amanda and now I hear they want to tie the knot.
I’ll tell you something, something hasn’t been quite right about that house since Amanda’s sister, Kelli, moved in. I think Kelli’s up to something, but I’m not sure what. If she’s half as manipulative as Amanda used to be, then Peter and Amanda are in trouble.
There’s trouble in our house too, aside from everything that’s happened with Rocco. Martha continues to support Ash, despite all our protests and concerns, but I hear she’s given him an ultimatum: ‘tell your wife it’s over or we are’. I hope Ash tells Rhianna and Martha can find some peace, but none of us think Ash is the one for her.
My good friend Rachel has been having a tough time coming to grips with Kit’s pregnancy. She’s trying to be supportive and Kim and Kit want her involved, but can you imagine what it would be like to have a husband who’s about to become a father to another woman’s child? It can’t be easy…
And neither can leaving home. Beth left the Bay today for an overseas trip. She’s been doing a lot of soul-searching of late and she’d decided to go overseas for a while and do the trip she’s always dreamed of doing. She’s gone to Europe for a holiday and I’m sure she’ll come back a better person for it. I just hope Tony will be OK. The poor thing proposed to Beth because he thought that was what was needed, but Beth explained it wasn’t. He’s a very supportive man, that one. I just hope he gets the support he needs, now that Beth has gone.
OK, I’m going to go and check in on Ric.
Love, Sally.
