Hello Everyone,
I’m not supposed to be doing this – Rachel wants me to rest as much as possible – but it’s been so long since I’ve written, I’m concerned that you guys might be worried about me.
Not that I’m actually writing, mind you. I’m dictating this to my lovely friend Leah, who’s going to upload it for me.
Well, I might as well get straight to the point. No point beating around the bush, as Mr Stewart would say. I was attacked. Someone stabbed me. I don’t remember how or why or who did it, although I’m told it happened at the school and everyone seems convinced that Johnny did it out of revenge or something horrible like that.
But I just don’t remember.
And truth be told, I just don’t want to think about it too much. The main thing is that I’m alive and in situations like this you realise that all that matters in life is love and kindness and I’ve had so much of both in my life that I want to share them with others and that’s why I’ve decided to ask Rocco to stay with us. And that’s why I think about Brad a lot.
Sorry if I’m rambling, but I’m not exactly in the best shape at the moment (Hey Leah, could you put a smiley face after that please) :-)
Anyway, I’m not the only person in this town so I think it’s time I told you about what’s been happening in the bay this week. I’ve had quite a few visitors now and they’ve been filling me in on everything I’ve missed.
It seems that my young students, Belle, Lucas and Drew are forming something of a love triangle at the moment. Apparently Drew told Belle that he still loves her and he’s absolutely convinced she still loves him. And the fact that she’s been a bit awkward with Lucas lately seems to suggest she might. Their first attempt at their first time didn’t work out – I think they were both feeling too much pressure.
Lucas’ older brother, Jack, who I hear was of no help at all to Lucas when it came to ‘relationship advice’, has more than redeemed himself with how he’s been treating Sam and her son, Rory. He must really like her because he’s promised to protect them from her ex-husband.
Poor Martha, who I can’t help but think rushed into a relationship with Ash, was hurt this week to find out that he has a wife and kids back in his home town. It’s unbelievable, really, and I would have thought it was an instant dumping offence, but it seems she’s decided to stick with him. I really hope Martha knows what’s she’s doing because she could be headed for a rocky ride with a man like that.
Amazing Rachel, who saved my life, received some hard news this week too. Kit is pregnant with Kim’s baby. Did I tell you that they slept together after the helicopter crash when they both thought they would never be rescued? Well, Kit has just come back to the bay to share the news with Kim. Rachel was hurt at first, but now she’s embraced it – she loves Kim and this is perhaps his only opportunity to be a dad. She’s going to be there for him and Kit has welcomed her with open arms.
Ok, well, I should really stop and get some rest now. I will write again soon! (Well, Leah will).
Love, Sally.
