Hi all!
I feel like I really need to just dive right into things this week. And let me tell you, there’s one thing that really upset me and I’ve just been dying to talk about!
Tony’s arrived back home after word of what really happened to Rachel. The initial reunion between the two was perfect, Rachel said. But you could say that things ended up taking a turn for the worst. It later came out that Tony had actually slept with another woman while he was gone! What in the world was Tony thinking?!? I understand that he was under the impression that Rachel had run away to see Hugh, which I myself had even thought, but for him to just go off and sleep with another woman?! The mind boggles! Rachel is obviously extremely upset—I mean this other woman DID just show up at their house out of no where to see Tony. And then Tony had the nerve to lie right to Rachel’s face about it at first! She was just an “old friend”, he said. I just don’t understand why bad things have to happen to good people like Rachel. Tony is mortified by the whole ordeal and wants nothing more than to make everything right again. I just don’t understand why Tony couldn’t try explaining himself to Rachel right from the beginning. I mean if the woman hadn’t of showed up at their house, would he have EVER told Rachel it happened?
So Aden was telling Roman that Melody hasn’t spoken a word in forever, since Axel’s death, and then actually opened up to Aden and was speaking to him at the clinic. I guess she confided in him that she’s “evil”. She had prayed for Axel to die, and was convinced that SHE was the one who had killed him. Aden obviously rejected that thought and told her that nothing of the sort could ever happen, and it wasn’t her fault by any means. But Melody seemed to believe nothing other than the fact that she had killed Axel. Her mother hasn’t been much help on the issue, forcing that thought into her as well.
From what I hear Geoff and Nicole have had some ups and downs this week. Those two definitely are an odd pair in my mind, but Nicole always seemed to be convinced that opposites attract. Geoff felt a sincere amount of guilt after having slept with Nicole on the island, it went against his Christian beliefs, so he came up with what he thought was a perfect solution—get married! Geoff actually proposed to her, which she obviously turned down, to try and make things right between his feeling of guilt, yet sincere attraction towards Nicole. They end up coming to an agreement that they’ll stay together, but without being intimate. It didn’t take Nicole long to break this agreement though, as she soon attempted to seduce Geoff into having sex, again. I guess Nicole had run into Melody at the clinic while she was visiting Aden, and she asked her to pass a message on to Geoff, a message which never got to Geoff. When Geoff found this out, he was furious, and let Nicole know that he couldn’t be with anyone he couldn’t trust and stormed out of the house. Who knows what will end up happening in the future with those two!
Roman said that Belle actually went in and saw Aden! She made sure to let him know though that things were over with their relationship and that he needed to focus on getting better. She did offer her friendship to him though, and let Aden know that she would be there for him through all of his difficult times.
Charlie actually went out on a date with Angelo! After feeling Roman had lost interest, she accepted Angelo’s offer to go out on a date. Would you believe, the night she went out with him, she ran into Roman. He was actually getting a bottle of wine to bring over to her place as a surprise. When he saw her all dolled up, she had no other choice but to confess she was going on another date. But while Angelo did everything right bringing her to a beautiful dinner on the beach, Charlie couldn’t even enjoy herself enough to just have fun and the two find themselves talking about Roman for a majority of their date. Angelo gave her the advice to confront Roman and let him know that she needs to either be together with him or not—no more of this “casual” relationship nonsense. But Roman was already ahead of her with his decision on this one. The sight of seeing Charlie about to go on a date with another man was enough to show him that he wants nothing but her from now on. Now they realise that they both want a proper relationship with each other. I’m so glad Roman has finally figured things out and is taking that chance with Charlie! It should be good for him.
Something really odd has been going on with Bartlett and Kirsty. Kirsty’s been letting me in on the fact that on numerous occasions, Bartlett’s made her feel very uncomfortable. He even gave her a neck massage despite her reluctance after she mentioned a sore neck! That just seems so unprofessional to me, not to mention awkward for Kirsty. Her uneasy feelings escalate after he asks her to work late and then insists they have a drink together afterwards. Obviously she wanted to say something, but definitely didn’t want to risk losing her job just for speaking up about feeling uncomfortable. But after she realised her mood was even being affected by Bartlett’s behaviour, I let her know that it’s time to say something. She brought the subject up with him in a completely professional manner, but let him know that she’s been feeling very uncomfortable with their relationship lately. He claimed to feel mortified at the thought that he has made her feel this way, but are his feelings really sincere? I heard through the grapevine that right after Kirsty left his office to speak with him about the matter, he was making phone calls inquiring about a motorbike that Kirsty had previously mentioned to love. For some reason my intuitions are telling me that this situation might not be over.
On a side note, some people seem to believe that Ruby is developing a crush on Miles. She’s denied all accusations of it, but seems to thoroughly enjoy any time she can spend with him. And the poor thing almost had her pursed snatched from her the other night! But Miles was there to come to her rescue and get the purse back. I’m thinking this saving may have heightened Ruby’s feelings even more for Miles, though.
After realising that Charlie was back with Roman, Angelo and Belle seemed to be spending more time together. Angelo’s charm and wit might just be exactly what Belle needs to take her mind off Aden these days.
Well I guess that’s all there really is to fill you all in on for this week. So many relationship issues buzzing around the Bay! Both good and bad it seems. I’ll be sure to keep you all updated on how things go.
With Love,
Leah
Oh p.s.—Martha ended up having a small ceremony in remembrance of her baby. Roman said this was probably just what she needed. Afterwards, Martha let on to Jack that she was ready to talk about the chemo and try for another baby. I’ll keep you posted!
