Hi all,

Wow, all of my excitement over Rachel and Tony’s baby plans has turned around in an instant. Apparently Tony’s reverse vasectomy has a low probability of working in their favour. With that, he has chosen to give Rachel her space to re-evaluate their wedding. He thinks she will end up resenting him for not giving her the children she always wanted.

I see where he’s coming from after Rachel and Kim split for this very reason, but Tony and Rachel are so in love. Plus Tony actually wants to have children. I know Rachel is being extremely optimistic, but she says if they stick together, they can find a way to make this dream come true. For a while, she was freaking out thinking maybe he was right, that her feelings would turn bitter, but I think she sorted herself out and the two are back going strong.

Well, since we’re talking about sorting things out, Miles and I finally put everything out in the open and decided to be friends. He really is a great guy; I’m glad that we’ve come to a mutual agreement with no pressure and no discomfort. But speaking of discomfort, there’s been a rift forming in the Summer Bay House since Ric got his new job. He’s been so tense and angry, and Miles told me that Ric found Jai sniffing Matilda’s clothing. Well, Ric was pretty upset about it, and apparently wasn’t shy in telling Jai this. Apparently Miles and Matilda thought Jai had a crush on Mattie, so I’m sure Ric is even less excited about their living situation, but Miles explained that Jai likes Mattie so much because she reminds him of his mum. The poor kid, he’s so misunderstood. I hope they clear the air in that house; Ric’s new attitude doesn’t impress anyone!

Well, the suspicion that Kane stole the money from the Den checks out, and Kirsty came to apologize and promise to repay me. Though an apology doesn’t do much for the Den, I think it will help our friendship, especially since she’s not going to prison alongside her husband! That’s right; Kane got almost ten years jail time. Poor Ollie is going to grow up without his dad, but at least he’ll have Kirsty and Irene now. It was very brave of Kane to accept such a harsh sentence to clear his wife and Irene’s names.

I can’t help but wonder if there was a way to get around the whole mess though. Morag seemed set on pleading not guilty to give them some time to re-open the original case he was not guilty of, but Kane took the prosecutor’s offer to save the people he cared about. A hero and a criminal all in one…it’s sad to see him go. He’s transferring to a different prison too so Kirsty can start her life anew. Hopefully it’s for the best, but I know she’s going to need a lot of support to cope with losing the love of her life.

Oh! And how could I forget, speaking of the Den, it’s not closing! It’s moving! I talked to Irene and Roman and we’re going to just swap locations for the Diner and the Den! They think it will help with my rent situation; I sure hope so!

If the Den does better in the Diner’s location, I can bring Belle back, and maybe that will help cheer Aden up a bit. He’s moved out of Roman’s to take care of his dad after his surgery and it is stressing him out. I don’t know why he doesn’t want to live at home so badly, but I know Belle lightens his mood when all the other things get to him.

And speaking of dads, Ross has his kids pouring in a mile a minute! First Charlie comes in with the biggest chip on her shoulder this town has seen and now, quite the opposite, young Ruby appears. She puts on quite the show, and it apparently isn’t making Charlie warm up to anyone, well except Roman. Hopefully he can make her tone down all of her hostility, the last thing the bay needs is an enemy in one of our cops.

On that note, I've got to start planning this move for the Den! I'm so excited!

With Love
