Melissa: I love the show! The storylines are cool and the actors and actresses are all very talented. My favourite characters would have to be Belle, Irene and Alf. I hope they never leave! Haha. I think it'd be really cool if you had more people of different cultures/races in the show. Like an Asian family or something... Keep up the good work!!
Look out for Jai who starts next week.
Mattew: I would like to say that Home and away is so good. I love it.
I love the new Nicole character, played by Tessa. You are such a good actress and i love all the story lines she had been given at the moment. Aden had grown on me so much, i didn't like him at the start but now i have a real soft spot for him and the guy who plays him Todd is a fantastic actor and needs to get the most popular new talents next year at the logies. Now Geoff, Lincoln is so good i really like him, but i don't reallly like that his so religous. Now Annie, Charlotte is a good actress but she hasn't been able to prove it because her storylines are so small and she is barely in it at the moment. I love Amy Matthews. Rachel is one of my favourite characters of all time now, i love her and i don't really have a reason why but i love her character. I Love Colleen, she is so adorable. Belle, Jessica Tovey is never in it anymore. I mean yes shes in it but its never just about her and she needs a big storyline about her cause i love her character. And i get a vibe that Belle and Aden are so going to get it on hahaha. But all up i love this show so much and keep up the great work. Home and Away will remain a favourtie of mine for many many many years to come and you deserved every award you got at the logies.
Philip: Morag is such a wonderful, exciting actor. I am quite unanimous with a group of friends who love her to bits. The strength of charactor, the confidence & style. Cornelia delivers a real world, realistic and yet tastefully clever person. I (we) are so happy that her acting roles are slotted into Home and Away at the the critical moments of the daily drama. Her acting skills are 20 out of 10. Please, Please ensure that Morag has plenty of roles to play in the future of Home and Away. On behalf of everyone crowded over me and this computer, Morag (Cornelia) you are so bloody excellent!! I hope this message reaches you... we believe in you!
Kirsty: I'm a big fan of home and away and is Miles staying in home and away for a long time like sally did or is he there for a while? and i really like the show it is some times funny and some times sad but i just wanted to say hello to every of the cast and how long is it to tony and rachel get married? that's all i have got to say bye bye
Miles will be around to take over Sally's role in The Bay. Unfortunately we can't reveal when Rachel and Tony get married, but keep watching to find out.
Katie: HEY DUDES!! I am lovin home & away its totally awesome!!! i totally love ADEN(TODD LASANCE) he is such a hot!!!! bad boy his emotional abuse storyline was really well done it shows also why he is such a nasty guy sometimes because he is really troubled and i totally felt so sorry for him i wanted to go and give a him a huge hug!!!!!!!!! I also think coz he is such a tough bad guy he should fall for some girl but be all arrogant about it coz he doesn't want to admit he loves her or something like that something that will affect his character in alot of ways it would be really good and gripping to see him change because of a girl. He should get together with BELLE or Mattie or TAM is pretty he should get with her not new girl NICOLE they are too alike and i think it would just ruin it because they're too alike and it wouldn't be very gripping or romantic it would be nice to see him get all from tough guy to mushy love guy it would be so cute so i say he should get with BELLE or TAM !!!!!!!!
Belinda: First, thank you to the script writers, directors, actors and everyone else who contributes to Home and Away. When I watched some of the earlier episodes - many years ago - I couldn't continue. In recent times, I've found the calibre of acting, some of the scripts and scene flow, so much higher - it really is a beaut production. It's one of the few programs I make an effort to watch. Brilliant ongoing work to you all.
Sandra: Hello all,
Just wanted to congratulate everyone who is working to make HOME AND AWAY possible. I've love your show since high school and I am still watching it religiously.
I'm from Auckland and I must admit is quite a special time for us as a family, I even got my mom and dad to watch this show. My son is 2yrs old and even knows some characters already I don't know if its a good thing or not. :)
Barbara: CONGRATULATIONS to the Cast of Home and Away for winning the Logie for most popular Australian Drama. Congratulations to Lincon Lewis for winning a Logie too. Also a BIG CONGRATULATIONS to Kate Ritchie for Winning a GOLD AND SILVER LOGIE (I was crying throughout your speech you really deserved it Kate :)
Katerina: CONGRATULATIONS TO THE CAST AND CREW OF HOME AND AWAY!!!!!!!!! ALSO A BIG CONGRATULATIONS TO KATE RITCHIE - SALLY FLETCHER FOR THE GOLD LOGIE. I was in tears during Kate's acceptance speech she truly deserved it.
Andy: Hey I'm a school girl and I've been watching Home and Away for ages. I love it...simple as that. PLEASE keep Jack and Martha togther as they are my favourite couple, us fans have waited too long for this. I love the new girl Nicole and her storyline gives the show so much fire with bad boy Aden and Geoff. Poor Roman though, I feel a bit sorry for him...please put a new person with him as he is 100% GREAT! Ric and Matlida love them now more than ever, it was scary watching Ric against Johnny Cooper's gang member...poor dude...and now his child isn't going to be normal. So please don't let him dump Mattie. Now Miles and Jazz....hmmm....well I hope that Miles is happy and stuff after his past, but Jazz...well I feel sorry for her, but I don't think she and Miles will work out, but that's my theory. Rachel and Tony *YAY* they both deserve this and I couldn't be happier. Belle needs a BF, I reckon but I hope it's not Dom (such a creep) cause he said he'll return.
I love Morag, she is random and funny. I often laugh everytime she opens her mouth. Keep up the superb work, as you're all doing a great job!
Caroline: I know Home and away is a drama, but can't for once in history a relationship on the show go smooth sailing. I'm referring to Martha and Jack. I think its great they're back together and they suit each other, but for crying out loud, can it just work
Kyra: I think it's great Nicole is there, just a little bit more drama...I thought It'd b cool if you got another hottie with the same attitude and personality as Nicole so there's some competition, cat fights, and chasing the same guys...sounds like it'd be fun and funny!
Chelsea: Finally Jack and Martha are back together, I feel so amazing to watch them, they have to be the best couple ever on TV. I'm just so happy. Thank you so much this is the moment I have been waiting for for 2 years. I love to watch, and I have to keep rewinding the program to watch it again. Keep it going I'd have them on every day if I could. I hope they stay together in Summer Bay for years and years to come. I just never will have enough of watching them. This past week has just reminded me how much I loved them and how much I do love them. THANK-YOU SOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!!! I LOVE JACK AND MARTHA!!!!!
Amanda: Ok now they are finally together, let them be. They have had so many ups and downs its time they were the perfect couple that stay together, and who knows one day even re-marry. They are meant to be, so lets keep them together!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anna: Well all I can say is …. Thank God for that!!! Jack and Martha are awesome characters and I have been waiting absolutely forever for them to get back together. I just adore both of them. Paul O’Brien is an absolute hottie and I just love them both. I am a 31 year old primary school teacher from Hobart and pretty much only watch this show of late for the two of them. They rock!!
Jennifer: WOOHOOOOOOOOOOO! I have just watched episode 4621 online and I am so so so sooooooo happy Jack and martha are back together! I cant wait to feel all warm inside watching them together again! They are so meant to be and pleeeeaaaaaaaaaaase keep them together this time instead of disrupting their love with annoying characters like Sam. As bad as it sounds I so glad she is dead she was soooo annoying! WOOOHOOO cant wait til tomorrows episode now!!!
Kat: Finally the moment I have waited nearly 2 years for, Martha and Jack's reunion. I was literally jumping up and down when they got back together. They are my absolute favourite couple EVER!!!! I hope that they are together for the long haul this time. I think the fans deserve it. I was just wondering if you could post the video of their reunion on your site. That would be awesome. I love Home and Away its my favourite, especially now that Martha and Jack are back together.
Elise: Hi I love Home and Away it is the best show ever!!!!! Thankyou so much for putting Jack and Martha back together finally! They belong together just please please please please please .... etc dont break them up !!!!!!!!!!!!! Please dont break them up, make them get married again and they can be the one couple in Summer Bay that never breaks up. That would be the greatest!!!! Ric and Matilda are my second favourite couple, could you please get mark furze to get a hair cut he looks so much better with shorter hair. Thanks. I love H&A I watch it every night for 7 years!! PLEASE dont break Jack and Martha up there so many of fans of that couple it would break our hearts they just belong together it sucks when they are with other people!!! Thankyou I LUV H&A!!!!!!!!!
Hayley: 'Perth' hey i LOVE home and Away i would never ever dream of missing a show, if i do i will get my friends to tell me everything thats happened. OMG I LOVE NICOLE aka tessa. i love her style, and she is a bit like me, i'm out there and try anything. The would LOVE to meet her, shes pretty :) . it was so so sad when sally left. i loved her to bits. I LOVE THIS SHOW.
Bianca: JACK + MARTHA = PLEASE. Please put us long suffering J n M fans out of our misery and stop teasing us with glimpses of hope on a reconciliation. If they were to re-unite, please make this last for the long haul. Jack and Martha can become the new solid couple in the Bay, i.e. Leah and Dan with no major obstacles. Hopefully through all their dramas, they've learnt from their mistakes and have matured as a partnership. Martha brings out the fun side in Jack, ah the good 'ol days, the nudie run, skinny dipping, drinking competitions...they're just too cute, not to be together.
Annette: Just have to say that although I like all the cast of Home and Away I just love the newcomers Josh Quong Tart (Miles), he is such a sweet guy, love him to bits. Then there's Todd Lasance (Aden), when he came into the show with a bad boy attitude I liked him and I knew there was good in him somewhere. I feel so sorry for him and what he is going through, it just makes you want to be there to help him. Then there's Conrad Coleby (Roman) gorgeous, another sweet guy, what more can you say. I'm sure that off screen these guys are great to be around. The thing with watching a show for so many years, and although I haven't watched it for the whole 20 years you take what happens in their day to day lives so seriously and to heart and you just wish you could be there to help them. :) I'm sure you guys must ask youselves at times why do people get so wrapped up and involved in the shows storylines and the characters. Why do I? Cause I love the show, the storylines and all the characters.
Melissa: I have never been much of a viewer of Home and Away. But the last few weeks have been really entertaining and fantastic to watch. I enjoy all the characters, and think everyone is doing a great job. These last few weeks I have not missed an episode. I'm always wanting to know what's going to happen next. I'm a single mother and when my son finally gets to bed there is nothing interesting to watch on TV. But Watching Home and away these past few weeks, it's become a daily routine for me to actually sit down and relax and enjoy the show. Excellent performance by Morage, Martha and Jack. They are fantastic actors so are the rest of the crew. Makes you feel really drawn into the show. It really gets exciting. Please keep the great work up. I know many people in my area where I live who are just like me in the 20's to 30's tuning into Home and away on week nights, to enjoy the show. Its great stuff guys. Keep it coming. Your all doing such a wonderful job. You should all be really proud of yourselves.
Rochelle: Just wanted to note some quick things about the storylines, and what a great job the producers, directors and of course actor's are doing this 2008. Well done guys! I think Cassie left at a perfect time, and with a great storyline to go with her departure. Sam's murder is the big storyline at the moment, but I have no idea why Jazz is a suspect? I cannot imagine that Martha or Jack, though no matter how much Martha did not like her, she would not have gone to the extent of killing her. The romance of Jack and Martha is obviously still there and though Martha is great with Roman, nothing compares to her with Jack. The arrival of Roman's teenage daughter this week should also be interesting, and I have a feeling she may even get together with Jeff. Also bringing in Aden as a more main character was a good move, and last week we learned of his past, not sure what will be his next storyline though. I loved Colleen being sisters with Morag and Alf, although it is very far-fetched it was extremely funny and easy to watch. Last but certainly not least, Sally leaving was so sad and tugged on everyone's heart strings but they could not have sent her off a better way, her last episodes were touching. I wish her sucess in everything she does, and cannot wait to see her return for guest appearances soon.
Anita: I think Jack and Martha should get back together because they are such a cute couple and Jack is someone Martha has known for a long time and she knows she can trust him. I think they should renew their vows and get married again. I was so upset went they got the divorce. I also think Mattie and Ric should be together forever. Well done producers you have turned Home and Away into a award winning show and has so many people watching. I love this show so much and all the characters rock!!!! But Jack and Martha should definitely get back together.
Jody: So Sam's dead. I think it was murder, she wouldn't commit suicide because of Rory, I would love to see it play out that Martha killed her, either if it was deliberate, or if it was accidental but then revealed itself that Martha had the opportunity to save her but turned a blind eye. That would be devious, I would love it. Martha did have it out for Sam.
Stephen: Hi, I'd just like to congratualte the writers, producers, and actors on such a fabulous show so far this year. The Milko story line had to be one of the greatest plot twists in soap history...handled superbly by the actor playing him. It's also a masterstroke in that with Sally leaving, there will still be a part of her in the Bay. I thought her final two eps were handled beautifully. It's great that she wasn't killed off. When Lisa McCune was killed off Blue Heelers, the show basically lost its heart. It was wonderful to see Floss back. She looks just the same as we remeber her. I wish Pippa Snr would follow her lead and hide that awful grey streak. I am so glad it was Sam washed up and not Jazz, who I'm loving at the moment. Yes, they have kept Martha and Jack apart way too long, but now she's found Roman and they are a good couple too. Also with Roman and Miles in the show, we finally have two strong male characters which have not been seen in the show for quite some time. The pairing of Tony and Rachael has been good, the best match up for Rachael since she's been in the show. And I loved the feature movie type promo at the end of Fridays ep. The Colleen being Alfs sister, although amusing was a little far fetched and heading in the realms of Days of Our Lives. You see, Colleen and Lance had always been seen as somewhat halfwitted. How could they have come from the same jeanpool as the more intellegent Stewarts? Morag was a Judge and Barabara was a teacher. Oh.. I'm also so glad Cornelia Frances is still in the show, having watched her in The Young Doctors in the 70s, (Now I'm showing my age) Sons & Daughters in the 80s and in the early years of Home & Away. It's great to have such soap pedigree in the show. Keep up the good work. I also love all the people I didn't mention, Ric, Matilda, Geoff, Cassie etc...
Sharon: Hi everyone in Summer Bay!
I have just watched Sally's farewell concert on your website and I am not doing too good holding back the tears! I am going to keep that episode forever when it's aired over here in Ireland! Summer Bay will never be the same again without Sal...but the stories are going to be just as good 'cause the cast are all great, but Sally was always the main character. Thank you Kate/Sally for 20 years of great TV, and from the bottom of my heart, I wish you every success in whatever you do next.
I didn't realise Carly and Steve were coming back...it's great to see them again, I used to love Carly when she was a regular, I can't wait to see her back in the Bay for a while. Pippa is always a nice treat to see popping in and out and I guess it will be the end for these characters too as there will be no 'original' family to pop back to see! So I send all the luck of the Irish to them also!! By the way, who is going to live in and run the main house and Caravan Park now?!
We are just at the stage now where Sally has came back from seeing Tom and Dan has died. Poor Leah would go into your heart. Amanda has just arrived too so things will be hotting up no doubt!! I'm still hoping that Jack and Martha get back together, I know Sam is in the picture but hey we all know she can't be trusted and there's something dark lurking in her past and hopefully when Jack gets over the shock of finding out Sam helped JOHNNY, Martha will be there to lift him up! I love Roman but Martha ain't for him! I know Leah is grieving but you never know he would be a great partner for her when she has time to get over her loss...
Keep up the great work one and all...I love H&A!
Sam: Hey, I've been an avid fan of the show for as along as I can remember, and I love the show. The current story lines are great, but I have one compliant. It's 2008, and we still don't have an openly gay character, I think one or two of them need to come out, now how great would it be if Aden and Geoff hooked up! It would make the show so much better and more interesting, and it's so sad to see Sally leaving. I wish Kate the best in what ever she plans to do in the future.
Tiiu: Firstly, I am so glad it was Sam who got killed off!!! Secondly, the last 5 weeks have been the best episodes yet on Home and Away-sad, moving, exciting, intense, gripping. I sit on the edge of the couch every night squealing with delight for the next suprise or tale. I love it.
I seriously can't wait to see what happens...Ahh I'll be going to bed tonight making my own little stories of what could happen!!
Keep up the awesome story lines
Christie: Hi, I just wanted to say how much I loved Kate Ritchie's final episode of Home and Away last night. It was truly heart warming. I love the way it was open - ended so that she'll be able to drop in for visits in the future. I definitely think she was given the farewell she truly deserved. With everything that has happened to Sal over the years I was so glad her time on the show came to a graceful ending.
I think it's a shame Miles didn't come into the picture just a little bit earlier...I'd have loved to have had more of a storyline developed between him and Sally. But I am pleased to see he is staying on in the Bay.
I am a HUGE fan of Josh Quong Tart!!!!!! Before he joined Home and Away, I LOVED watching him as a Sarvo host and also as Matt in All Saints. Hopefully he sticks around for a while. I think he should take over the blog - after all they're twins!
Anyway.... BRAVO! On Sally's departure.
Melanie: Hello to all the cast of Home and Away,
My name is Melanie. I am now 35 years old and have been watching Home and Away since the day it first came to air.
I just wanted to say that out of all the long running Australian series (Neighbours etc), Home and Away is the only one I have continued to watch day in day out into my adult years...even if my friends and family have made fun of me for it.
To see Sally leave after all the years I have been watching the show, literally brought tears to my eyes. I wish Kate Ritchie all the best in her new career and hope she comes back to the show for an encore performance at some stage. She is truly a brilliant Australian actress.
To the rest of the Home and Away cast, keep up the fantastic work...you all do such a good job....I will never stop watching your show.
Rianna: Dear Home and Away,
I love your show! I watch it every night, but I just can't get my head around Sally leaving.
I love Sally! She is the best...I will really miss you Sally. You are who I look up to; I think you have so much courage and you are so cool.
Oh, and by the way is SAM the one who washes up on the beach? Because she had to go to jail...I hope it is cause I hate Sam.
Tori: Hey, I'm a huge Home and Away fan! I even got a detention at school for sticking up for your show! I said Home and Away was sooooo much better than studying, and my teacher gave me detention! Anyway, I cant believe that Sally just dropped off the show, it's like the end of the world...no joke I wouldn't be surprised if there was no one left on the face of this earth by tomorrow morning! I cried during that concert, and my little sister teased me but I don't care, I love Sally! Also can Sam get hit by a truck or get struck by lightning and die or something or go to live with her sister...I hate her so much right now....POOR JACK and why did Sam have to bring Martha into this. Sam paying someone to beat her up, who would do that she is SICK!!! Don't kill Aden off either please, because I think he could be the next Ric and who doesn't love Ric??? I don't know anyone who doesn't, I know people that don't like his hair though...a lot of them please do something about that! I'm so glad that Martha and Roman got together they are so cute and whatever Roman is hiding don't let it be bad he is a good guy...he reminds me of Sally's character! Thanks for making a great show, and keep up the good work!
Anonymous: Hey Home and Away! I am a huge fan! You have been having so many good episodes lately! With Aden and with the hole thing with Jack/Sam! Its great! Please please please get Jack and Martha back together!!! They are the best couple on Home and Away! And they're just so cute!
Bianca: I have always watched Home and Away when I could, but since having my son six months ago and not working I now have more time to watch it. I just have to say that Aden is one of the most talented actors you have had on the show. His portrayal of the storyline at the moment about his grandfather's abuse of him has just been addictive. When I saw him get upset at his father last night I was very emotional. I have to admit, sopies have never really moved me, but his performance was so real, I couldnt help but be absorbed. I really hope that Aden can stay on the show and continue to receive interesting storylines that capture the audience; he is clearly very talented.
Thank you
Rebecca: I would like to say, i have been watching Home and Away for (oh gosh) years and have followed Sally Fletcher for the last 20years, with her happy and her sad storylines. I am pleased she finally got to meet Milco and was shocked he was her brother and still shed a tear now and again when she brings up Flynn. She will be greatly missed and am glad you didn't kill her off. I would like to wish Kate Ritchie all the best for her future plans and a little piece of Sally will always remain in my heart :-)
Anne: Ok ..TV week gave the choices of 5 girls to wash up on the beach. (Ok I cheated a little, but not much) either Sally, Cassie, Martha, Sam or Jazz. Hoping that u watched tonight’s episode...Jack just left the bay, saying to his dad, if I see Sam I don’t think ill be able to contain myself...ok looks like HES going to kill SAM...however. This isn’t true. Sam is getting Jazz to do her dirty work, and on tonights add it shows Sam turning up at Romans house saying "hello Martha." ok ok. Sam will use Jazz to get to Martha, and then Sam will try and kill Martha but RICK! will come in and save Martha by killing Sam. I hear u saying RICK? why? ..Well remember Rick is Martha’s cousin, and the other day Rick said a really random comment when Floss, the physic women says.” there is a dark cloud around your head" and we just think its because he lost his job. car. and is getting caught up in this doggy business with the guy who wants him to fight etc. She also says.."the trouble makers in trouble.."and he says..the only trouble maker is SAM HOLDERN...really random don’t u think!!! Floss then says "no its a male" leading to finding Aden in the diner unconscious etc) ok...Jack will get blamed for this whole thing and MARTHA will defend Jack (the whole thing has to be based around Jack and Martha getting back together because its what we want to happen so it WILL HAPPEN) but in sticking up for Jack she will have to dob in Rick...This guy (Viv's husband) is trying to get Rick to fight right. He has a lot of power in society and is able to pull strings. He will get Rick off the charges.. ONLY if he agrees to fight. By Rick fighting, this will cause a split between Matilda and Rick and Matilda will get with Aden (you can see there is something between these two because of the love/hate relationship they show) then Rick will get with Cassie in the end and they will raise Cassies baby together. (They are always bound to get back with each other) Then...Roman will get with Jazz possibly? and Leah and Myles! With Leah and Myles getting together this leaves the possibility of something happening to Sally later on down the track if she decides never to return to Summer Bay because if something happens to Sally then Leah and Myles can raise little Pippa because Leah being her surrogate mother and Myles being her uncle. This will then leave possible room for Irene or Morage to get with the school principle? hahahaha....ok that was just something really random on the end, but hey! Anything’s possible right!! haha.
Excellent work...does anyone agree with Ann?
Isobel, Tiegan & Tiarna: I have watched the 2nd last show that Sally is in. I am sooo sad. I watched the show with my 10 yr old twin daughters who absolutely love Sally as do I. I can't believe her last show is tonight. My daughters and I did quite a bit of crying tonight. Your storylines helped me growing up with the real life dramas that I could relate to. I hope my daughters get the same connection that I did. Kate Ritchie you are AWESOME, Home & Away will not be the same without you. Good luck in your life's journey. You deserve the best so go get it! Thanks for the memories. PS I watched your interview on the yahoo7 website that made me cry even more.
Rebecca: I just wanted to say that I appreciate your storyline in relation to Cassie and her being HIV+. I am a 28 year old woman who has been HIV+ since 2003 and I also have a daughter, Ashley, who is turning 3 very shortly and she is negative. I'm very thankful that you have decided to put a touchy subject such as HIV on your tv show - there had to be more in the media about HIV and you guys have done that. Thank you very much.
Patricia: I have just spent all day watching reruns of Jack & Martha online. We really need to get them back together! It is so ridiculous that we have left it this long to get them back together. I love Home & Away but am sick of looking at Sam she is driving me crazy I won’t be watching it again until she has left!!! I live in Ireland so I guess I will miss a whole load of episodes too!!!!
Julian: Hi Home and Away,
I just wanted to congratulate you all on the great shows so far and would like to see the script keep going with success this year. Would you be able to keep Miles and all of the characters on Home and Away as they really make the show so enjoyable to watch every night? Thank you for keeping the show going and I hope to continue to watch it for the next 20 years.
P.S My Mum and Grandma love the show and have been watching since the start! Thank you
Grace: I am like your biggest fan. I really love the show.I woulden't miss it for any thing! I can't believe that sally is leaving summer bay, i will really miss her! I can't imagine what it will be like without her. Poor Sam and Jack it must be hard to decide whether to burn the letter or tell the police. It sounds like good news for Martha, she has found a good man at last. Cassie WOW she is pregnant and HIV positive. I felt so sad for Leah. It was looking like bad news for the diner. Luckly Leah got all that money for Dan. I am looking forward to tomorrow nights show. Speak to you all soon.
Richelle: OMG OMG I really hope Aden doesn't have hiv... ummm please don't let him get it I am begging u anyway he's hot hehe... I am so glad Jack didn't burn up the letter from Johnny Cooper coz at the moment I am really hating Sam, she is a murderer... I'm just still shocked because Drew left and Lucas, so sad... I love Aden he is the best cast member in Home and Away.. I love h&a it is my fave show.. I love u I love u!.. I shall keep watching u till the very end..
April: Omg! I hate Sam! Why does she have to be preggas? I hope she is lying! She better be! I love Jack and Martha! but I am getting happy with Martha and Roman! But I really want Sam to leave!!! grrrr....she is so anoying! I know it's all a show but I feel like I know these ppl and just want to jump in the tv! sometimes I wish it was an hour episode. Oh and I really hate VIV! OMG and her husband ruining Rics life...grrrr....I really love how Jazz finally got it in her head that Tony loves Rachel! I love Rachel and Tony together! I love Belle she is pretty, kinda looks like Mischa Barton. But I hope she finds a better job! Drew and her were the best couple but I don't mind that they broke up. I loved that fight scene that they had. I hope they get back together! grrrrrr.....sam is anoying!!! I can't believe I am emailing you guys!!!
Samantha: On Good Friday a few of your cast members were at the Royal Children's Hospital.
I would like to say thanks, on behalf of one family, for the joy you brought to them just a few days before their son, Tyler, of 7 months past away. You made a mother smile. Her family had tried for a while to make her smile and be thankful for the time that she and her husband were given with their beautiful baby boy. So not only on behalf of myself but also the de Jong family, thank you.
Taylah:(14yrs)- I was born in Condobilin N.S.W. and my father died when I was 17 hours old so me and my family have had it tough but we're getting there. We move almost every year the longest time i have stayed somewhere is 6 years and that was in Condobilin, I have been to 15 different schools so i'm used to losing friends and not seeing my family but the thing that keeps me feeling right at home is acting and watching Home & Away, i've been watching it ever since i can remember. Just wanted to say thanks for all the years of entertainment and that i wish kate all the luck in the world, and i think it is great that "Cassie" wants to share her story...Hope it goes well. Thanks Cya.
Nicole: Sydney, Australia. I'm a mad fan of home and away. It's a great show. I've been watching it since I was just 7 years old, now I'm 13 turning 14 in May. My nana taught me to watch it (Only mum says so, but I don't think that's right lol) I liked it how you created a character like Sam, but I don't like her character (no offence to say this, but she's quite mean to Jack for not letting him see Martha, and push him around) and also, I like the storyline of Geoff liking girls! Very good guys!! OMG! I can't believe Sally's leaving!! Why does she has to leave?? She's the best!! and also, I'm sorry to hear about Dan dying!!
Karen: I am a grandmother with teenage grandchildren and I am concerned at where home and away look like heading with ric's character on the show. I get the feeling that they are going to write him in as going down the road of illegal boxing. This is quite disturbing for me as I don't think it is a good image to be portraying to young people out there who are down on their luck as far as work and money go. Ric and Matilda decided against it for the right reasons and I hope the producers see fit to show that a person like Viv's husband does not always win. They would do better to have Viv's husband get caught out and pay for what he has done. It is giving young viewers the idea that just because someone has money they can ruin a persons life.
Sandie: I am a big fan of home and away, but I think that current storyline about Rick and organised fighting is wait out of line. I don't have any high school aged children at the moment, but if I did I would be absolutely frantic about what your show is currently promoting. I think it is an appalling storyline. Teenagers these days do not require ideas such as this put into their minds and to see an episode where so many grown adult men are encouraging such violent behaviour is absolutely terrible. This went beyond 'some violence' and a PG rating was certainly not appropriate for this episode.Deeply concerned viewer.
Hilary:Just letting you know I made Kate’s meatballs recipe this evening and it turned out really well. My fiancé was very impressed too ;-) Thanks for posting the video.
Joy: Hi, Firstly I would like to say that I am a big fan of Home and Away and so much so that I went to Sydney with my daugher and met some of the actors which was a dream come true.
I want to say how much I love the program as it has such great story lines and covers various
relative issues and dosn't glorify immorality like some programs, instead it teaches right from wrong. Also the acting is so great. The emotions and actions are so real - no over-acting but so believable I'm on the edge of my seat at times and in tears at other times. The Director
is absolutley so talented to give such great direction.
I have a question: Last nights episode showed Johnny been given help by Sam and apparently he is her ex-husband and father of Rory and yet I thought her ex-husband had been
stalking her in previous programs and was killed. Please could you
explain this. Thank you so much.
Hi Joy, Sam's ex-husband was killed. He and Johnny were in jail together and that is how Johnny knew about Sam's past and used it to blackmail her.
Lara: I love home and away! I have been a true fan of the show for years and years now. Watch it all the time! I luv the storyline with Cassie. It's so interesting and storylines like that aren't exposed very often. I think 'Cassie' is doing a GREAT job at acting it. Luv the ric and maltida story line also, so glad they r back 2gether:) One thing im really sad about is Sally leaving! im going to miss her soooo much. I'm so worried the show won't be the same without her. I'm a commited fan to the show though so I will watch it no matter what but going to miss Sally! and Cassie leaving is also so so sad! I really grew to Cassie. I would have to say the Cassie and Sally storylines r my fav, following Rick and Maltida.... frm the true fan xoxoxoxo
Ashleigh: Hey at the moment i think home and away is at its best..... but there is one thing bothering me... its rics hair. It is too long and wispy and i think he would look a lot better if he went back to having short hair. Even if he just got some of it cut off so it looked in control (no offence to the hair team at H&A).
Lori: I have been a viewer of this series for over 15 years and whilst I have had doubts about the story lines at times I still look forward to the show.
The increase in stalkers, serial killers, bad boys etc etc sometimes make for a bit of a ho hum episode again. Some is a bit out there but overall the general peaks and troughs of the characters are entertaining.
The cast are a troupe of high quality and extremely competent actors who excel at their craft. I am also keeping my fingers crossed to see more WA actors taking up roles in Australian made shows such as Home and Away.
I have always appreciated watching an ongoing story rather than a closed series that just gets spirited away. I also congratulate Kate Ritchie for her endurance and Ray Meagher for his reliable talent and both of them for keeping a thread of continuity in this show over the years. Well done and Thank You both for that.
Can I suggest that the issues be realistic but still be presented in an entertaining way for a varied age audience as is presently the case. Drop off some of the shonky plot lines and get some younger writers in to add their perspectives to the overall themes. Make it relevant to the viewer not flights of fancy and murder and mayhem. Summer Bay cannot handle all the disasters, deaths, destruction and bombings that have plagued them in years recently.
Thanks for letting me have a say too.
Louise: I'm a very recent convert to Home and Away.. I only discovered it when Neighbours switched to Channel 5 here in England a month ago.. and wow!! I am totally hooked!! I'm Australian originally but have lived in England now for 13 years with my son.. Obviously I'd heard of Home and Away, but had never watched it.. but was a big Neighbours fan once I came to England - as it reminded me of home, and how Australians are so friendly...
I've been watching Home and Away now for about three weeks I think, and I just want to say how hugely impressed I am!! When I first tuned in I was blown away by how accurately the life of teens in a seaside town were portrayed!! I grew up in a coastal town, and the beach parties and teen angsts that were portrayed here a few weeks ago were just so incredibly realistic!! It took me right back to my own teen years!! I was thinking then that I wanted to write to someone at H&A and tell you how impressed I was with the way different moral issues, like drinking, driving, sex etc are handled.. They're portrayed in a very realistic, honest way, but also show ways for teens to handle things like that in a more mature way... You kind of got the moral message across without preaching.. Well done!! It reminded me of Albert Bandura's social psychology efforts by conditioning through the television media.. (I'm a Clinical Psychologist.. 'o)
And then this past week - with Cassie's HIV diagnosis - powerful stuff... and I've just finished watching the episode where Milco reveals his true identity to Sally.. I am still feeling the impact of the powerful emotions expressed (and felt by me..).. What incredible acting! The fellow who plays Milco was incredible! and then Sally's reaction when she finally remembered... Wow!! what incredible actors!! and also the actress who plays Cass - again incredible!!
So just want to say - Well done you guys! and keep it up... It's great to now have TWO Aussie shows to watch each day!! I'm chuffed to bits... 'o)
Michelle: I used to watch the show years ago and have only started getting into it again. The only characters I know now are Sally and Irene. But it has been easy enough to catch up on the new guys. I really liked the flashbacks that Sally had showing Pippa (well the 2nd Pippa). Have to agree with other comments about UK soaps that when someone leaves we never see or hear of them again. I am really enjoying the show Keep up the great story lines.
Carlarina: Its not fair that Sally is leaving. She can't,she just can't leave! Leah needs her. Sally is Leah's bestest friend. I know what its like to lose a best friend, and it feels as though u have lost half of your self. And the bay is NEVER gonna be the same without her. Its soooooooooo not fair! Its really tugging @ the heart strings coz i dont want sally to go, can't u just write in that she doesnt leave? :( :( :(
Anonymous: Martha and Jack should be together as a couple, instead of Sam and Jack being married !!!
Jack and Martha are perfect together !!
Missy: To the writers of Home and Away in the last few months... stunning. I think whoever created the final connection between Sally and 'Milco' was incredible, and really deserves to be acknowledged. To effectively connect and complete the puzzle together the way they did, from a storyline that has run since Sally was 8 years old was so clever.. and it had me, along with everyone else in the country, in tears of joy and 'wow', and 'that was brilliant'. :) I'll never forget it.. really touching. The other thing I had to express was tonight's episode (Tues 11 Mar) .. the fight between Belle and Drew.. it smacked the gob off me... it was so real and emotional and they never faulted or looked like they were acting for a second... for a couple that are dating in real life (the last i heard anyway..), it was a very raw, honest portrayal of a real argument. Jess and Bobby, you should be really proud.
Craig: I think Cornelia Frances needs a new sparring partner. I was twelve years old, when I watched Cornelia and Rowena Wallace, going head to head, wit to wit, on Sons and Daughters and it would be great to see these old sparring partners liven up the living room again in the 21st century.
Jenna: I am absolutly loving the storyline with Ric and Mattie! Young love is so nice to watch, takes you back to your younger years. My memories are pretty fresh though as I am married to my high school sweet heart after 6 years and two children.
I am just writing to say I hope Ric and Mattie are one of those couples that stay together, it would be great to see them get married, Indiana whould be the most stunning bride to date on the show. Also the whole Cassie situation so real, Sharni deserves an award for that performance.
Jade: Hi, Im a massive fan of Home and Away along with my sister. I just wanted to give my opinion on the Jack, Martha and Sam situation. Personally i think Jack and Martha should get back together. They were perfect for each other and each week we watch it we're wondering when its actually going to happen. They're always on and off with Jack unable to make up his mind but thats only because Sam's in the way. She needs to get out of the picture and leave Jack and Martha to rekindle their relationship. Trust me this storyline isn't boring and to see them back together would stop the show becoming frustrating. Thanks.
Jess: (16) Dear Ada, I just want to say that I think that you are an amazing actress and I look up to you. I have lost four people already this year and sometimes I think that nobody knows how bad it feels. I know that you're only acting, but you do such an amazing job at it.
My one and only dream is to meet you & hopefully one day that dream will come true. You're amazing at your job, keep it up!!
Tara: Hello all, I've been drifting around this site for a while but I thought i'd send an email off to say how much i've been enjoying the show lately. Great writing and great acting by all. Jodi Gordon really came into her own as an actress last year and I love the mature change we've seen in Martha in 2008, I truely hope she finds happiness with a good, decent man and settles down. Not Jack anymore though, he married Sam (bad decision by the way), that should be the end of it, that love triangle had dragged on long enough. I don't think Jack will ever really know what he wants and Martha deserves better. I love Roman, he and Martha could be great together. It's good to see Morag back, I hope she sticks around and Cassie's HIV storyline has been amazing, and something new to the show. Just one question though, whats happening with Ric and the baby? Viv has just disappeared and its confused me a bit the way the storyline just dropped.
Hi Tara, yes Martha agrees with you, Roman is gorgeous. Keep your eye on these two next week... With regard to Ric, he has some big decisions to make next week with regard to the baby, so keep watching. Cheers Tania
Steph: Hey I'd just like to say i'm very thankful to the writers of h&a because 6 months ago i lost my dad i have never lost anyone close to me before n i really believe that leahs storyline is helping me n alot of other ppl who have lost someone close, ada is doing a great job acting because it makes it feel real, she is a very nice person n i was lucky enough to meet her many years ago n got her autograph. Also i was lucky enough 2 meet jodi gordon she is also extremely nice Byee XxOo
Eve: Good to see Amanda coming back into the program, it will be interesting to see her and Jazz get into cat fights. Sad to see Jack married Sam how about this for a storyline. While looking through Reverend Hall's medical notes and passed history Rachael discovers that he was not a priest at all and had taken on the identity of a priest who used to visit him when he was in the mental hospital in the city. How does she tell Jack and Sam that they are not really married! She confides in Martha who immediately puts careful plans into action in the hope of getting her man back.
Katerina: I'd just like to congratulate the whole Cast and Crew especially the writers of Home and Away for what has to be the most fantastic week of Home and Away episodes to this date. Special mentions to Kate Ritchie, Ada Nicodemou and Lyn Collingwood who had me all in tears! Home and Away is a perfect example of good old Australian drama. Again CONGRATULATIONS to all involved!!!
Claire: I'm also a huge fan of Home and Away, and before I go any further... Todd Lasance who play Aden Jefferies is HOT!!! There, I said it. lol
Anyway, I'd like to congratulate all the talented actors who were involved in the filming of the Sally/Johnny Cooper storyline. I'm sure it was a tough storyline to film, so well done. Also, I hope that Annie does find some romance in her life. With Lucas going away, I remember Annie did have her heart set on him a while ago, but she deserves some happiness.
Hilary: Hi Guys, fantastic to see Sam finally becoming interesting and not just a pawn in the Jack and Martha saga. These past couple of weeks have redeemed her character for me. Her scenes with Johnny were incredible, and spoke volumes in what we didn’t see rather than what we did. Fantastic writing and acting by all concerned. Well done!
Jenna: The last three weeks of Home and Away have been AMAZING. It's truely great writing. I really love the mature change in Martha, but it's made me realise something. Martha is too good for Jack now. She has become an amazing, consistant character but Jack is just... a fool. He comes across as pathetic. I think its time Martha moved on. Jack has made his choice an he isnt worth Martha's tears. Bring Michael back, or put her with Roman, someone who will show her the respect she deserves, and not choose Sam over her again and again, last night was another classic example of Jack doing that, why does he needs Sam's permission to be friends with her? Why should Martha even bother with a man like that? If J&M ever do end up together again I hope Jack works hard to win her back, I don't want him to just snap his fingers and Martha will come running, what happend to girl power? By the way, I hope Sam gets what is coming to her, she is so spoilt and selfish and now she's helping out Johnny? Its time she got her just desserts.
Trish: Hey guys - that was fantastic - Sally half way to heaven.
Your concept of lighting, backs to the camera, different
directions - unselfish decisions. Don't know if it was the same "writer" or "director" but
something was very different and I think you opened doors with this episode.
FANTASTIC - WELL DONE - Keep up the good work.
Bev: I am 62 years old and have watched Home and Away since my children were teens and I have to tell you that today 18th February, was the best episode I have ever seen..so sweet and sensitive..thank you so much. And congratulations on such a successful show, my husband is 71 next week and he hates to miss H &A..its great. We love Sally's character but she has to move on..thanks.
Antoinette: Tonight's show was brilliant!!! with Sally temorarily dying and meeting Tom... having that discussion and actually having the choice whether to return or head off to heaven. It was touching, moving and so heart warming. I loved it. I lost 3 people very close to me last year and it has made me think a lot about death and whats on the other side. It's rare that people talk about it, or even think about it... but it will happen to all of us one day. I think tonights show was so brave, there are not many shows these days that address this topic (life after death) and I must say you did a beautiful job. I think anyone of any religion would have been touched by the way you portrayed sally's experience. Thankyou... this brought wamth and comfort to my heart. I'm soooo glad that Sally didn't die... yet anyway... who knows what is in store. Great Job guys. As soon as the show finished i found myself saying 'Brilliant' over and over. Very Impressive.... even my parents watched it and said 'oh no now we are going to be hooked' ha ha. Brilliant!!! Keep up the good work....
one more thing... as great as all the tragic storylines are it would be great to see more inspiring/happy topics... life is difficult for us 'out here' at times it's good to see more happy, positive stuff when we sit down to relax in the evenings. nevertheless i will never stop watching H&A. I love it xoxoxo
Jayne: I remeber being a little girl sitting on my mum's lap watching Home and Away for a new exciting adventure when Sally was a little girl, now I'm 21 and everynight Monday to Friday at 7pm I'd sit infront of the TV mesmerised, it's almost like looking through somones window day after day, it seems so real, I'm going to miss Sally, I hope everything changes and she stays because it will never be the same without her.
Dana: (13)Dear Leah, I think you are a good actor and you should win a logie award because of how good you act. I hope all things go well on home and away and out of summer bay.
Remember you are such a good actor!!!!!
Fiona: Hi I would just like to express my admiration for Callan Mulvey(Johnny Cooper), I know he is the bad guy but as an actor he is extremely talented and very focused on his role. In reality he has had a very rough few years, almost losing his life in a car accident near Bryon Bay, his rehabilitation following the accident could not have been very easy for Callan. I certainly wish him well in the future and am very proud of the massive steps he has made to get back to acting. good on you Mate, well done. Love the storylines by the way and yes I am another person who would rather see Jack and Martha together lol.
Tesha:(9yrs) - I live in Melton Victoria and Home and Away is my favourite show ever!!!!!!
I am really sad that Sally is leaving the show because she is my favourite character and I will really miss her being on the show. I think her acting is very brilliant and she is so good at showing emotions, especially when she was a little girl. Even though it is just acting, to me it feels like her character is so real and I feel like I know her. I want to say thank you to Kate Ritchie for being on the show, being a great star and giving me someone to look up to as my role model. Good luck Kate in your future and I wish you all the best of happiness. I will miss you!
Debbie: I think that the story lines that are currently occuring in home and away are a good mix of topics. The whole Cassie being pregnant, and being HIV possitive is a big issue amoungst young people today and hopefully will get teenagers along with everyone elsethinking hard about the effects of it. I am only 16 years old and have being watching home and away ever since I can remember!! I think that the storylines do cover alot of real life issues and does play them out very well. So keep it up but maybe do something with Annie because she really needs to liven up!!I think that she should have a bit of romance!!
Emily: I want to say i've watched home and away since i was 10, that's the last 12 years of my life. Home and away is like my religion. I want to say I am so glad for the annie and the matilda story lines, they are both insurecure and so am I. They remind me that they're other people out there like me and I appreciate it.
Maxine: With sally leaving everyone is talking about how it will end for her..The overwhelming thoughts are that no one wants her to die..After all she has been through and all she has been to the show, it would be a crying shame..Sally needs to be able to pop back in like Pippa senior does, or at least send postcards back to the bay..waiting in anticipation.
Kelsey: I am a huge fan of Home and Away and I just wanted to say great job to the whole cast! You are doing a great job on all the current storylines and PLEASE no one else leave; Kate, Bobby, Rhys and Sharni leaving has been hard enough! Special shout-out to Todd, you are so awesome and hot! (Ahaha, don’t deny it!) And also Jess and Indi, you two are both gorgeous girls, you rule!
Hayley: Channel 7 thank you so much for bringing that storyline into the works...when Sally realised they really are brother and sister and then twins my mum and I sat there and cried right along with Sally..sobbed infact.. It was just so touching to think all these years watching Home and Away and for something like that to happen was so great....imaginary milco is real!!!! I think that may just be my favourite moment of all time and this is speaking from someone who has watched the show from day one. Thank you for giving us an almost life long journey to tune into every weekday as these people almost feel like the best of friends we have had for years.
Nikki: I have never commented before on the Home and Away website and was always happy just to read others thoughts however the latest performance from Sharni who plays Cassie has pushed me to make my comments known. Her performance has been amazing and I praise her for her acting ability to portray someone in such tragic circumstance. Having had acting experience myself in the past, she has inspired me to pursue my passion. I wish her all the best, she has already done so amazingly well!
Renee: I am 19 years old i have been watching home and away since I can remember and I just wanted to say it is the best show on tv. I have to watch it everynight and if I am not home I tape it. I get on the internet everyday to look at the sneak peeks and get TV week every week so i can read all about what is going to happen. I wanted to say good luck to cassie and hope she has a good time. I will miss her very much as her character is one of my favorites as well as Jack, Martha and Sally and just something else to add I cant wait until dom leaves.
Steele: Brisbane - I just wanted to say I think it's a good storyline having the HIV topic on Home and Away. I found out a year ago that I was postive & if I didn't find out when I did, I would have been close to the aids mark if I didn't find out till the following year. It was big shock to my system. But also being straight not gay, it harder to find girls with it. You just think it will never happen to you and you think HIV is only overseas not in your own backyard of Australia. The young people of today, sometime as young as 15 have sex sometimes without protection & don't realize that it is so easy to catch. We need to push it out there and by having it on Home & Away it will get people talking an hopefully realizing it does happen, cause even though there are drugs to help you keep your body healthy. The virus changes your life on what u can & can't do, drink & eat. As the side effect of these drugs to fight your cells are powerful & nasty but to stay alive u have to go with the flow.
Matilda: hey guys! i just want to say that theres one thing that i really really want from you and that is to BRING JULES BACK!! he was the greatest character, everyone thought he was bad but he was just misunderstood! it was totally unfair when he left, with drew and cassie and everyone against him and he did nothing wrong!! seriously, me and my friend have been watching it ever since he left, just to see him come back! we thought he might once jaz was gone but then she left and there was still no jules! home and away has been left with a big black hole which he used to fill! you can try to replace him with new kids like jeff campbell but hes just a pretty face compared to jules =P. well yes thats all i just really loved him and want him back haha. oh and im a bit over the martha jack sam thing, seriously we are done with their love triangle. so in the meantime, Matilda and Ric back together would be sweet and bring us back JULES!
Carla: This is in reply to Anna re Christianity. I don't normally involve myself in these sorts of comments sections on websites. I was really just taking a break at work and wanted to see what your website was like. But I found myself needing to reply to Anna's comments about H&A's take on Christians. You said that in H&A Christians are often portrayed as criminals or bad people! I think I've only seen one storyline where A Christian has been shown as a bad person and they have also explained that his behaviour is a result of medical issues not yet dealt with. It has nothing to do with his religion. And if you are referring to the Grandfather of the young girl & boy, who drew a gun at one point, I think you will find that being Christian doesn't give you the right to take this type of action. I'm sure if the character was non-Christian and drew a gun, you would not have a problem with them writing this storyline! The Grandfather was a bad person as he dwindled away the inheritance which was left to his grandchildren by their parents, on his own wants and needs. No-one has the right to do this, Christian or not. So it's probably a good idea to get all your facts before you accuse any television station or program of portraying any religion in a not so friendly manner. It's comments like yours that open a Pandora's box.
Carin: Last night's episode where it was revealed that Cassie is HIV positive played out by Sharni Vinson was astonishing. I believed every word she said and sympathised with every tear she shed. I was truly blown away by her performance and well after the show had finished at its regular timeslot of 7.30pm. Her performance left that much of an impact that it had triggered a dream I had where I was told I was HIV positive. Like Cassie, I was absolutely shattered but unlike her character mine was all an awful nightmare. I recently read that she is leaving the Bay to pursue a career in LA. I wish Sharni all the best and am confident based on her performance last night that she will excel in LA and further her career. Well done Sharni, absolutely fantastic!
Suzie: Dear Writers, I have been watching Home and Away forever, i just felt like i should tell you tonights episode ( Friday 8th Feb) was the BEST yet. It is a pity that Kate Ritchie is leaving because she and Josh have great chemisty. I was crying as Miles ( Josh ) told his story. He is a great actor and really should be nominated for an award, OUTSTANDING. Please keep the great story lines coming. Thanks for the entertainment.
Noela: What a great start to the year with the storylines on Home & Away of late.
In regards to Kris comments on the Martha & Cassie's storylines the show portraying them has promiscuous young women especially with Cassie being 18.
Yes - I quote Kris 'Why on earth would a young, attractive, pretty woman such as Cassie go out with a 30-something cocaine using, rapist such as Henk? And then suddenly, she is in love with him? After how long? About a month? It is as if you are encouraging this kind of behaviour among teenage girls despite the fact that it could end in them getting pregnant or, worse, a life threatening STI." Unquote - Lets not forget Cassie is an intelligent, well matured young lady for 18, who happens to be in love and in a relationship not an honest one at that with an older man and it is said love is blind and Cassie Can't See The Trees For The Forest.
These are the morals, values and messages that these storylines are representing among some teenage girls/young women of today who in real life can't have a sex talk with there mums like my daughter and I can and being aware of the consequences that come with unprotected sex, not being aware of your partner sexual history, and being honest and up front with and because of that Cassie now facing the battle of a lifetime 18, pregnant, & HIV positive thanks to Henk.
We're looking forward to Cassie's powerful storylines and the outcome with that I hope and pray for Cassie & her unborn baby will be a happy one.
Mitch: I WAS JUST WONDERING, THE ACTOR WHO PLAYS MILCO, WHAT CHARACTER DID HE PLAY ON "ALL SAINTS"??, AND ALSO IS JOHNNY COOPER REALLY COMING BACK FOR REVENGE AND DECIDES TO ATTACK SALLY?? AND YEAH, STONE THE FAMING CROWS, WHERE'S ALF STEWART??, & I'M STILL NOT GIVING UP TO TRY TO TALK U GUYS INTO BRINGING SAM ATWELL BACK AS KANE PHILLIPS, SAM WAS A GREAT ASSET AND ACTOR ON HOME & AWAY WHEN HE WAS PLAYING "KANE PHILLIPS", PLEASE GET HIM BACK ON, & I'D LIKE TO ALSO PAY MY RESPECTS TO HEATH LEDGER AS HE WAS ON HOME & AWAY, HEATH WAS ONE OF THE GREATEST AUSTRALIAN ACTORS & HE STILL IS TODAY AS WE SPEAK, SINCERLEY MITCH.E, PLEASE REPLY SOON AND TAKE CARE.
Hi Mitch, Josh Quong Tart plays Miles and he played Matt Horner on All Saints. Keep watching re Johnny, and Sam Atwell is now one of the Directors of Home and Away...look out for his name in the end credits.
Belinda: Hi guys, just want to write to advise all the story lines on Home & Away are great. Its been great for a long time, and especially now it has never been even more exciting and enjoyable to watch.
Good to see alot of 'couples' story-lines. Keep it good, its exciting, fresh and nice looking couples.
Nadia:Im 13 and OMG i luv home and away. My fav characters are Jack, Martha, Belle and DREW (i luv u). I luv home and away so much my uncle went to Sydney to go to the home and away store just for me and my cousin. We got the Surf club t shirts, home and away drink bottle and part 1 and part 2 of the headline when Dani was in jail. And also get Martha and Jack back together!! And Rachel needs a man so she can have children!! Anyway i still luv home and away lol !!
Josephine: I am a big fan of homeand away from back home (Africa). What were you thinking about making Jack and Sam getting married hum??????????? it really hurt me and i was crying but i hope they get back together because they looked fabulous together. Martha is very beautiful and i hope to meet her on the show when i get there, because it is my dream to be on homeandaway even when i was in Africa. luv everyone on the show and i think that the producer and the whole team are doing a very good job. xx
Anna: I am a massive fan of Home and Away. I am 12 years old and would love to act on the show myself. I love the actors such as Martha and Lucas.
I have watched it most of my life. Just recently I have noticed that you are using Christians in hurtful and offensive way. I am a Christian myself
and in your show they are often portrayed as criminals or bad people. We are exactly the same as all people except we have a passion for Jesus. I lost my father recently
and i believe he has gone to a place where loving, generous people are with him in heaven. People are now thinking that Christians are different and strange but really we are just normal people not wanting to be judged. We all believe in different things which we should accept.
Anthony: I was wondering if you could update your website with a video of the new credits for the 2008 season of Home and Away. The credit changes at the begining of each season is just as important and much loved as the show itself and it would be fantastic if you could see the recent changes on the seven website! The last one you have on their is from 2007, which is a shame as it lets us down in the UK who love waiting to see what the new look credits and theme tune will be like.
It's a good idea Anthony. The theme tune hasn't changed but the credits have a few new faces, so we will put the video up very soon...Thanks Tania.
Julie: Here is a twist for the Jack/Martha/Sam storyline, The priest (Summer Bay pycho) is not a real priest. So Sam and Jack aren't really married!
Kris: I watch your show every day and thoroughly enjoy it. However, I have not been very happy with the story lines of late. First of all you have Martha jumping from bed to bed with random guys, not to mention sleazy and/or old guys but now you have turned 18 year Cassie into an even more promiscuous figure. What kind of message is that for all the young Australian and New Zealand girls watching your program who look up to the female leads as role models? That alone is wrong but apart from that these story lines are just plain stupid. Why on earth would a young, attractive, pretty woman such as Cassie go out with a 30-something cocaine using, rapist such as Henk? And then suddenly, she is in love with him? After how long? About a month? It is as if you are encouraging this kind of behaviour among teenage girls despite the fact that it could end in them getting pregnant or, worse, a life threatening STI. I strongly recommend re-thinking the morals, values and messages you are representing with these ideas.
Kathy: (26) Vic - Hi guys just wanna let you know that my 7 year old daughter Michaela and i are hanging out for the show to return to air. She keeps nagging me and the sooner the better. We just love to sit there and perv on Ric. He is such a hottie and we would love to meet him one day. i think that i would propose.( I dont think that my husband also named Rick would be very pleased but oh well)We try and alway see Ric's interviews on tv and now we are having withdrawals.
Well its so sad that sally is leaving us this summer. I have watched the show right from the start and i remember when she first came onto the show. Such a little cutie. She has really grown up with all of us. Best of luch to her in her new journeys. I agree with other emails, kane and Kirsty need to come back even if its for a visit. There has never been any kind of update on how they're doing. Thanks for great story lines and looking forward to seeing Ric VERY soon.
katie: hi i just wanted to tell you that your show is amazing and no show will ever be able to beat you. because you have excellent actors and well written scripts. i have been a fan of home and away for about 8 years and i'm only 14 so i have loved home and away most of my life and i only just found out that my art teacher used to be an extra on your show her name is michelle miggins. if i had to give your show a rating out of ten, i would give you ten. everybody on the home and away set keep going because you are doing a great job. love you all from katie.
Christie: I am a huge fan of Home and Away, and congratulate everyone who works on the program. However, I am very disappointed to learn that Home and Away won't be returning to our screens until the 28th of January this year. Without fail, it always returns in early January - never this late in the month!! Why is it returning so much later?? What is stopping it from coming back earlier?
I am sick to death of summer programs and re - runs. I know I would rather be watching Home and Away than any of the other programs on at the moment. I'm sure I'm not the only one! I can't believe I have to wait another 2 weeks for it to come back and endure 2 more weeks of summer programming.
I would love to know the reason why the return of the show has been delayed. And I can only hope that the season's return is worth waiting for and there are good story lines right from the beginning.
Everyone is anxiously waiting for it's return, but the Australian Open is on for the next 2 weeks. The wait will be worth it, there are some amazing storylines coming up with Sally and the mystery man...stay tuned.
Emma and Vicky: We think u should get in contact with Vinnie, Kirsty and Kane! And ask them to come back to the bay. Now Dan has left we think Leah needs Vinnie back in her life and vj needs his dad! kirsty and Kane are awesome and we really miss them and we need to know what the developments are in their relationship and how their child is keeping. we do realise this would mean that the charges against Kane would have to be dropped, but as he never committed the crime, this can be easily solved, " as his dad confesses, or a mystery witness could clear his name".
We hope this is possible, as we feel it is essential to the show and would make great viewing, please note that we only want the original characters not like what happened to Flynn and Haley, we would also like Will to come back, but we would like to see a shaven head as he is the hottest with less hair.
best regards to all in summer bay, apart from the evil attacker, (we know who you are!!!) and looking forward to your reply.
Khori: OMG!!!! Matilda and Lucas! Why on earth did they break up? I loved them together, not only did they make a great couple on screen but off, Mattie and Luc need to get back together! Who cares about Mattie and Ric, Ric needs to find another girl better then an older woman! What was he thinking! Also, I really am annoyed by Sam! Jack and Martha had the best wedding until the Stalker came back! Jack still loves her. Martha still loves him. Why can't they confess to each other what they mean? I don't think Lisa should have been taken off the show! I loved her character!
Jennifer: What are the writers of home and away playing at getting jack and sam married!!! That is sooo wrong when are jack and martha getting back together??? It the reason I watch it!!! I love them!!!
Chelsea: Oh,, jack and martha have to get back together, i was in tears when she didn't get to the church on time, it was devastating, what can she do now?? she thinks shes lost the love of her life to another woman! they belong together, the chemistry is amazing between them, they just fit! i hope that either sam leaves or something because nothing can get in the way of true love really!! my little saying kinda fits this senario "whats meant to be will always find its way". they both deserve to be happy and sam doesn't deserve to be second best! Its pretty simple really, jack totally loves martha, martha totally loves jack, the rest is history (or whatever that word is). Moving on from all the romance stuff (im a sucker for a romance) i think the whole hospital stalker storyline is really amazing, and it all turning out to be rev hall was really nail biting. i wonder if he is a real rev if his personality is like that! (oh and if he's not then maybe jack and sam aren't legaly married!) anyway, 2007 has been great, im sure 2008 will bring even more fantastic storylines<<(GET JACK AND MARTHA BACK TOGETHER!!!)
Nadine: I just wanted to say how wonderful Paul O'Brien was playing Aladdin in Panto in Gravesend, Kent, ENGLAND. Me & 2 friends went 3 times and were lucky enough to meet him after the show each time. We had really wanted to meet him since he joined the cast and were not disappointed. He was as lovely as we imagined and hoped he would be. He appreciated the fans being there and even though it was freezing (weather that he isn't used to) he still stayed behind to make sure that everyone got a chance to spend time with him. Please pass on our thanks to Paul and we hope that you like the photos and can use them.
Thanks Nadine, I will put the photos on the site very soon and will pass them onto Paul.
Laura: Hi i love home and away. it is by far my favorite program. i also love the website. it has fantastic pictures of my fave actors. Happy birthday to jodi gordon. i know it's not until february but i had to say it. if it's anybody elses in the next 2 months email me back and i'll hav a message 4 u. could i have indiana, jodi, sharni, paul, kate ritchie, (kate garven??????), jessica, rhys, mark and anyone else on home and away's email addresses, home addresses and phone numbers i would love u 2 pieces. thanx so much. Laura stevenson, aged 11, P.S. hav a very merry christmas and a happy new year!!!!
Glad you are enjoying the show and the website. Sorry but we can't give out any email, home addresses or phone numbers, but the cast do read the messages on this page.
Jessica: I think the show is fabulous. I also think your website is very eye-catching and brilliant.
Melissa: Hi to you all at the home and away team. Thank you for an amazing year i have enjoyed the excitment and sadness that Home and Away have brought us this year, it is very sad to see Sally end her time with Home and Away and it will be certainly different not seeing her on our screen next year, Sally has certainly been around for many years and i am sure i am not the only one that has enjoyed her and watched her grow with the programme over the years.
Its a shame that Jack ended up marrying Sam as alot of us where hoping that he and Martha would reunite and live happily ever after, i hope now Martha finds someone that makes her truly happy and hopefully Sam can get over her jealousy with Martha.
Leah and Dan one of my favourite couples it will be sad to see them head off to America they have been a part of Summer Bay for a while that is for sure. Mattie and Rick well i certainly hope they sort things out and get back together as they are alot of peoples favourite couple that is for sure and Viv well i just did not like her character and Ric was a very silly boy when she was around he certainly made some stupid decisions and ruined something terrific with Maddie, it has been awesome watching Maddie grow over the years and turn into a beautiful person. Anyway i look forward to Home and Away returning to our NZ screens in 2008.
Jenna: I'm so sad that Home and Away is over for the year. I don't know what to do with myself at 7 pm now. I can't believe that Jack and Sam actually got married, it was so disappointing. He is meant to be with Martha, surely he knows nothing good can come from marrying the woman you only love second best. I cried when Martha was sitting outside the church by herself in tears, but I think it capped off an amazing transformation in Martha's character and in Jodi's acting, which has been remakable this year (yes i know everyone keeps saying it, but its the truth, Jodi deserves an award). Please give Martha a shot at peace and stability with a nice man next year, poor thing, she doesn't deserve anymore misery, I loved her and Michael together and was sad to see them end, he treated her so well. I have also loved Ric this year too, from the jail storyline to Viv, Mark Furze never failed to impress. One more thing, is Alf coming back? We're losing Sally, so we absolutely can't lose old Alf. Hurry up 2008!
Alisha: (NZ) Hey, your show totally roxs! I luv watching your show. My 2 favorites are Jack Holden and Martha McKenzie because they are soo cute together and Jack is sooooooooo cute and he aint i repeat he ain't mean't to be with SAM he is meant to be with i repeat he is meant to be with Martha you should go on youtube and look up Jack and Martha there r heaps i mean HEAPS! of people who want them together and i am one of them my user name is these 3:
* Jackholdenluvsmartha * shaneisdaadorabal1 * jackholden4life. One way Jack and Martha could get bac 2gether:
Katie: (New Zealand)Hey Home and Away cast and crew I just have to say that I love your show, we are a bit behind over here in NZ and i have have been watching it for nearly 4 years and it's still as good as ever. I have to say i was a big Sam and Jack fan when she first came to the bay as i thought she might be good for Jack but i sort of changed my mind and now i REALLY WANT JACK AND MARTHA TO GET BACK TOGETHER SOOOOOOOOON!!!!!!!!!!! But i still support Sam and Jack. I want to congratulate Jodi Gordon and Paul O'Brien for there fantastic acting this year. I have to say i can't wait for for 2008 as i now it will be bigger and better than ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Meg: Hi I'm 11 and I'd just like to say congratulations on yet another fantastic year of Home and Away!! I really want Jack and Martha to get back together. The finale was very frustrating as there are so many loose ends to be tied up which is of course how a finale should be...I'll say adieu now but I cannot wait till next year!!!!!!!!!
Sanveet: Hey everyone of home and away i am a 11 yr old girl from australia and my name is sanveet i luv home and away it is da best show ric i luv you !!!!!!!! and if you remember ric i am the one who asked you if i can get a photo with you on your way out from penrith westfield !!!!! sally, cassie, mattie,leah,annie,belle.... jack, lucas, ric, geoff, drew and many more you all rock!!!!! jack and martha you 2 where made for each other!!!! anyway cya hope everyone from the home and away cast can read this !!!!!
Dayle: (18) I have been watching home and away for as long as i can remember!! i have to say though i am a little sad on this years ending. Jack(Paul O'Brian) and Martha(Jodi Gordon) are my favourite characters. Im sure many would agree with me when i say that Martha and Jack should've ended up together. They are meant to be together and a lot of this years episodes were about them and their chemistry. Sam just shouldn't be with him. I could NOT stop thinking about it after it finished. I think also next year Hugh should come back to be with Rachel! Thanks a lot and i look forward to when the show is back on in 2008!!
Kerry: Firstly let me congratulate the home and away producers on a very exciting 2007 finale. I think the Milco mystery is facinating and i can't wait to see what happens with the storyline next year and how it will affect Sally's last months in the Bay. Well done to Kate Ritchie and all the best in the future. I know so many people are asking about a dvd and i know due to contracts you can't release one but maybe you could consider releasing a book or series of books containing every script since 1988. i'm sure many of the fans would buy it and i know that my age group would love to read up on what's gone on before our time.
Kaili: I have an idea on how Jack can win Martha back! My idea is that when Jack walks out of the church with Sam he sees Martha there crying, when he sees this he remembers how many good times he had with her and relises that he's making a big mistake marrying Sam! So he runs over to Martha and gives her the biggest kiss and says "sorry i made the biggest mistake in my life, i should have never left you."
Katie: Hey, what a great season home and away has had this year. The only downside to the year would of been Jack and Sam's wedding. Just before i was on youtube looking over some videos of Jack and Martha and when they first met and how good they were before the wedding. I literally started crying when i saw how happy they were together and the love they shared. I was crying partly because of how happy they were but mainly because Jack is now married to another women and not Martha who he clearly loves. Some of the footage i saw of them two, i had forgotten and it brought back great memories of them two and how happy they used to be together. So please, not just for me, but for all the Jack and Martha fans out there, put Jack and Martha back together and let them be as happy as they used to be. And again congratulations to a great year.
Jenny: Hi, everyone I would first like to say congratulations to Home And Away it has been a good year.
But I myself must agree with Michelle on the part that I was disappointed on the out come of Jack's wedding it was a big rush job at the end to finish up for the year it was like only half a wedding took place, they should of run it through into next year, not end it with Tony and Sam looking at Martha, and I can't believe for one second that Jack wouldn't of taken notice of Sam looking down at Martha.
I also would of liked to see Jack get back with Martha, it's quite clear that they belong so why marry Jack off to Sam. After dragging poor Jack and Martha around from piller to post for half of the year they didn't get back together that's got to be the biggest disappointment of all. I would also just like to say CONGRATULATIONS to Paul O"Brien "Jack" for making it a great year watching him on Home And Away, it wouldn't be the same if Paul wasn't there. Keep up the great work Paul..
Kate: Well with the year of Home and Away coming to an end I felt the need to congratulate all the cast and crew, especially Kate Ritchie and Jodi Gordon, who have had the biggest storylines this year. Jodi Gordon continues to amaze me with her ever improving acting skills. You have thrown just about everything you can at Martha, abortions, pole dancing, a constant broken heart and Jodi just took it all in her stride which can't have been easy considering the devastating personal loss she suffered this year. Please pass on my congratulations to Jodi. Hopefully in 2008 we will see Martha get some happiness, she deserves it! Also good luck to Kate Ritchie for her future after Home and Away. Looking forward to 2008!
Jennifer: Congratulations to everyone on home and away for another wonderful year! I would also like to give a huge congratulations to Jodi Gordon, This is year by her Character's biggest storylines, from dating a drug dealer, to being a pole dancer, being trapped underground, witness of a bank robbery and one of the biggest storylines this year (Jack/Sam/Martha/Michael). With such great storylines this year its hard to imagine that she had, had such a terible loss in her personal life. I would like to congratulate Jodi Gordon for a wonderful 2007 (Her year)....She will get my vote for most popular actress at the logies thats for sure.
Michelle: I was very disappointed & upset with last night’s episode when Jack & Sam got married, I was hoping Jack would see Martha at the back of the Church and realise the mistake he was making. Jack and Martha are the next Shane & Angel of the show, and I was hoping they would get back together. I think the Jack & Martha storyline which has gone on half the year is a waste of time if they don’t get together; they have so much more chemistry than Jack & Sam. Why would you marry Jack a second time in a year, when his hearts not 100% in it, as it will only head for another divorce?
Emma: Hi Home And Away! I have watched home and away from as young as i can remember as my mom used to have it on every night! I live in the UK and on 23rd Nov we have just had the 'Sally and Brad's Wedding' episode. i think it was the right decision for sally not to marry him as she was giving out signs that she didnt want it but he wasnt listening. I do also think that you should bring back Dr. Hugh. Him and Rachel were a perfect couple and i was so disappointed when he left without her! Martha and Jack aslo need to get back together.. They obviously still love each other and if Jack goes through with the wedding to Sam he is going to regret it!
Jessica: Hey all you awesome H&A lovers out there, my name's Jess and I live in Queanbeyan! I think Home and Away is the best show on Earth and I have been watching since I was 7 years old. I can't believe the 2007 season of H&A has nearly ended! My birthday is coming up soon on the 30th of November, so to celebrate my 13th birthday I am having a HOME and AWAY PARTY!! My best friends Zoey, Danielle and Jennifer all love Home and Away just as much as I do so we decided it would be a great theme. We are having a sleepover at my house and wacthing the last ep of H&A for 2007 on that night. Everyone is coming dressed up as a character, can you believe my mum is going as COLLEEN?! It'll be a blast. I just wanted to share with you guys my awesome birthday plans coz I love Home and Away so much!! P.S. I support Sam and Jack but honestly I think Jack and Martha make a better couple! I hope they reunite on my birthday !!
Great idea...send us some pics and we'll put them in the fan gallery.
Linda: Everyone is being so mean to Sam. Why is this so? Just because everyone likes Martha and Jack, that doesn't mean Jack can't find love with Sam as well. We all need to give the new girl a chance. In my opinion, Jack is better off with Sam!!!
Nicole: I'm 17 and aussie, and a massive fan of the show.
I believe the show is brilliant! I've watched British and American soap operas and nothing adds up to the success of Home & Away. I study film and television at school, so its great when we get to watch programs like Home & Away, however i just have a question... what ever happend to the old characters like Nick, Gypsy, Noah, Seb, Duncan, The Sutherland family? I would also just like to add congratulations for the long running success of the show and i hope there are many more years to come, as i believe that many people can relate to show, and the feelings brought forward. There should be more Aussie shows like it! The show won't be the sam without Sally! but she (kate) is destined for great things.
Sarah: I wanted to thank whoever wrote the storyline in which Sally wasn't able to get married. It's just been shown here. In any case, the line "When I married Flynn, I married him for life" was just perfectly weighted, and delivered with a simplicity of expression that made me full of relief. I'm 32 and my husband died at 28. I love him still, and although I've met other nice people, it always felt exactly as you described – fundamentally, it's "pretending". I just wanted you to know, from my perspective, you got it completely right.
Joel: It's indicative of the sorry state of our society when the 17 year-old character Matilda can have sex with some random she barely knows and it is played out as only a trivial development within an episode. Ten years ago such an occurrence would have been the week's biggest drama. What message is this sending the young and impressionable viewers? I like the show in general, but storylines like this let the production down.
Tony: I'd like to congratulate the scriptwriters on "Home and Away" for their brilliant writing. The scripts ooze with complex, witty, dialogue and plot lines full of originality and class. Characterisation is unsurpassed and beautifully developed with subtlety and patience. The viewer is challenged at every turn, enticing and rewarding him or her with sophisticated dialogue, dramatic pathos and unpredictability, on a par with the best of Dickens or Chaucer.
They wouldn't believe it, but some writers stoop so low as to churn out banal rubbish where children sleep with parents/teachers/criminals, disabled characters suddenly walk (and run), entire parts of the cast are lost at sea and then reappear as though nothing has happened, people are stabbed and yet can be teaching again in a week, stereotypes discharge themselves from hospital and then die and police forces contain the same 2 policemen every episode. In between, other characters spend their time telling everyone how they feel, and then apologising for it by telling how they feel again.
Thank God Home and Away isn't like that.
Danielle - I always watch your show and my favourate Actor is rory because he is cute and hot.
Helane and Carly: We are 2 massive lovers of home and away. WE JUST LOVE IT! We just wana know if Jack and Martha are going to get together. They make such a good couple! We love home and away because it has so many twists and turns and it makes us hang on the edge of our seats in between episodes. from the 2 biggest home and away fans ever.
Noela: What's happening of late on Home and Away with all these characters leaving the bay? Though Alf has temporarily left on his caravan trip with mates, but Geoff, Ryan, Brad, Heather & Tam, have left the bay.
I thought on an episode preview it was Brad that was asking Sally to come to Tasmania with him the question was left Will Sally follow her heart & go, then find out on the show Brad was asking Heather & Tam not Sally to come to with to Tasmania.
And I've now read in the Home and Away newsletter,19 Nov 2007, that Martha is leaving the bay and asks Michael to come with her, maybe this is for the best to start anew with Michael and finally find love and happiness.
Though I would love to see Martha & Jack back together they had the chemistry more than Jack & Sam do, but they had their chance it's history now, they've both moved on with their lives with someone new.
I do feel for Sam it's hard when the ex's are still involved in each others lives even as friends. She too deserves love and happiness in her life now her & Rory can settle into family life with Jack in Summer Bay.
Apart from that as always I enjoy watching Home and Away and the storylines of late, but what happened to Dom stalking Belle. And I wonder who is this trusted local attacking women?
And yes,the truth always come out like it always does with secrets and lies, poor Mattie, just when her life has turned around for the best, will this cost Ric his relationship with and her friendship with Cassie lets hope not? Honesty is the best policy in all relationships.
Yes, like Sally said Ric is only 20, inexperienced & naive when it comes to an older married woman. And one who is manipulative like Viv. She like her husband aren't good relationship material with their affairs.
Anyway, thanks for hearing what I've got to say, keep up with a great show, Well done to the cast and crew. Have a safe and happy Christmas and New Year. All the best.
