We quiz Home and Away stars about what they’ve been up to last.
Amy Matthews (Dr Rachel Armstrong)
Phone call you made: To my boyfriend – he’s in Melbourne and I miss him very much.
Cracked up laughing: Chatting nonsense with Chris Hemsworth and Mark Furze.
Album: Soundtrack to Rushmore.
Great buy you made: A really beautiful vintage dress from a place round the corner from me in Stanmore called Pigeon Ground.
Risk you took: The last storyline I had was Rachel running off the rails, so I definitely had to step up to that challenge and get out of that comfort zone.
Holiday you had: Thailand and Cambodia, about two years ago.
Band or theatre show you saw: The Goat or Who is Sylvia? It was fantastic, really great. Go and see more theatre!
Paul O’Brien (Jack Holden)
Phone call you made: To a mate on the Gold Coast to see if I could crash at his place ‘cause it’s my best mate’s wedding tomorrow.
Cracked up laughing: Last night watching American Dad and Scrubs.
Album: Today I was actually listening to Korn in the car, and Tool yesterday – getting into the heavier stuff.
Great buy you made: I keep thinking of buying a plant for the house… I’ve got a plant in my room and I love it. Guys get a plant and put it in your room! Her name’s Shady and she’s a palm tree.
Risk you took: Driving today. There’s a little patch of road that’s a bit windy and I just got my clutch fixed. If you’re doing 60k, it’s like a racing track.
Holiday you had: Sitting on the beach just a few days ago. It was a beautiful day and I was reading – it was a half an hour holiday.
Band or theatre show you saw: There’s a new music venue that’s opened up in Manly through Perfect Pitch, and it’s the School’s Out concept where they get in local bands. I actually launched it for them and watched some young guys rocking out – it was great! Other than that, Pete Murray. I was trying to see Ben Harper – tickets sold out!
Jodi Gordon (Martha Mackenzie)
Phone call you made: To my best friend, just to catch up and say hello. A song came on the radio that reminded me of her!
Album: I didn’t buy it, Izzie [Isabel Lucas] gave it to me: Tristan Prettyman.
Great buy you made: A vintage dress from Bondi markets for $30. It’s white and it’s beautiful – it’s a bit of a preppy dress. It’s high-waisted and it’s all pleated to just above your ankles: a summer dress.
Holiday you had: I was in QLD with my Mum for Mother’s Day. We had to do a Channel Seven brunch with competition winners, that only went for two hours and then we got to stay at the Versace, it was very nice.
