Does true love ever really go away? Kirsty and Miles seem to be growing more and more fond of each other as each day passes in the Bay. The couple’s relationship is much more at ease than Kirsty’s previous one with Kane. But even though so much drama erupted between Kirsty and Kane, their love for each other was real.
So now that Miles is in the picture, are they headed towards love as well? Do you think Miles is right for Kirsty or will she not be able to fully move on from Kane?

Helen: Hi, i don't think they should be together, Kirsty made a huge sacrifice to be with Kane and chose a life on the run with him dispite what he put her family thru, i don't think that someone would give up on that as easily as she has, Miles is a great guy but they don't suit, Miles and leah had a connection that seemed more realisitic and suited each other better then the connection Miles and Kirsty have.
Kathy: Kirsty and Miles make a terrible match. Its always been Kirsty and Kane.
Maybe Miles can hook up with Irene.
Jacob: yes i do rekon that kirsty and miles are right for each other they look so happy together and they have somethings in common and i hope they stay together for a long time.
Georgina: I think they are an absolutely terrible couple!!!!!!! Its terrible Kirsty has moved on so quickly and I think Miles and Leah should get together!!
Cara: Kirsty and Miles should just stay friends! Leah is a much better match for Miles, and I think it suits Kirsty's character better to stay true to her love for Kane.

Jean: Is Miles right for Kirsty – no I do not think so, I cannot see any chemistry. He is more of a good friend type. Can true love ever really go away – no – not in my opinion. The old Kirsty would not have walked away from her husband and the father of her child so easily. She certainly would not have been kissing someone else within five minutes and starting a new relationship. Even in the world of soap this was done so quickly that you did not have time to take a breath. Why have you changed Kane into a criminal no different from his abusive father and brother? The message – no you cannot escape the criminal family you come from no matter how hard you try – no true love does not conquer all. It would have been so nice for their story to have had a happy ending and the opportunity for that to happen was there. Both actors were available to come back at the same time for guest roles – so why destroy their story? Some of your audience are romantics and like a little bit of the fairytale ending and a little bit of the feel good factor to their soap opera. Why does your 20th celebration year have to contain only cops and robbers, car chases, rambo stories, deaths, yet another cancer story, another “who is the father” story but no happy ending story for a couple who’s story was certainly different and controversial and had gone through so many difficulties over the years. Kirsty’s love for Kane should not easily go away – it is a shame that you would not give them the happy ending.
Deb: Hi. I am torn between Miles and Leah as a couple and Kirsty and Miles as a couple. I think Leah is a little more mature and would suit Miles maturity wise, but Leah isn't exactly a *fun* character, she's more the responsible, hard working single mother. I sometimes wish she could just take a day off, go swimming or go out with the girls and have more *Fun* more often. I don't think I've seen Leah have any actually fun, always responsible, give her pole dancing lesson's or something! a new hot wild romp! Kirsty's married, she needs to divorce her husband before even thinking about another relationship, it's too soon. She suits Miles *cooler* side. But she seems to young to be involved with Miles.
Sam: I think Kirsty and Miles are a good together but it won't last beacuase Miles and Leah should get together beacause they are both two very caring people and i'm not saying Kirsty isn't caring but Miles and Leah look better suited and then that way Leah will always have a part of Sally with her forever and Kirsty could be alone but still stay good friends with Miles and still live together or Miles and Jai move in with Leah and Alf, Kristy, and olly live together in Kirsty's old home.
Jackie: I am emailing you about the Kirsty and Miles thing. I think they're great. And Miles is right! They should be together no matter what. It doesn’t matter what other people think because that's not what you think. And with Kane, he betrayed Kirsty because he didn’t tell her about him stealing money. Therefore why should Kirsty trust him? As for Martin Barlet, I think he just misses his wife, which he thinks reminds him of Kirsty and when Kirsty told him she felt uncomfortable around him because of what he did, he probably came back to the reality of things and wanted to get revenge. I think now Barlet is just trying to pick on Kirsty because he's jealous of Miles. Thank you for taking the time to read my point of view in Kirsty and Miles' relationship and I really do hope they can become a nice couple. Kirsty is one of my favorite characters after Sally Fletcher.
Louise: (England) Kirsty and Miles kind of suit each other, but I reeeeallly wanted Miles and Leah to get together. They're both kind of goofy (in a really cute way) and Leah has seemed so sad since Dan died.. I think it would be great given both of their relationships with Sally too. I just think Leah and Miles would work so much better together, and could be totally goofy and in love together. Kirsty already seems to be pulling back on her feelings - which isn't terribly surprising given the recency of the whole Kane situation. I'd like to see Kirsty pull out of the relationship. Miles would be really gutted by that (because he obviously would have over-attachment issues and abandonment fears given he was separated from his twin as a child and lost his wife and daughter) - and then he could turn to Leah as a friend to get over his pain/re-ignited grief re Kirsty. and then Miles and Leah's relationship could slowly build, with both being a bit scared and reluctant for fear of being hurt - but then they could both give in and be totally head over heels silly in love with their two cute goofy and playful personalities. 'o) That's my thoughts anywayz... 'o)
Christine: I think that Kirsty and Miles are a great couple. Just beacuse you married doesn't mean you can just turn your feelings off. If Kirsty and Miles like each other then there is nothing that anyone can say. Kirsty and Kane were never good together. At least now little Ollie has someone he can look up to. Like everyone says Kane told her to move on. She did that.
Cassie: I think that Miles and kirsty are perfect for each other. i know kirsty is a married woman but didn't kane say to move on. Kirsty and Miles need to ignore what anyone says about theur relationship and focus on each other(and work of course).

The Kane thing isn't an issue, he put her through hell. Miles is the antithesis. Uncomplicated, sweet and supportive.

Celine: Kirsty and Miles make a good couple. She is still in love with Kane but Kane wanted her to move on. So I think she should because she really likes Miles.

Kirsty and Kane were NOT meant to be because she was the one who always wanted a better life for their son and to stop running from the police and to settle back down where she grew up with her family but kane however only thought of himself and said to kirsty that its not safe for ollie in summer bay but i definately think miles and kirsty are a match made in heaven.
Maddi:(11)I have watched Home and Away for pretty much all my life, having two big cousins and a Mum that absolutely loved it, I watched it with them and still watch it every night!
I think that Kirsty and Miles are perfect! Kirsty and Kane were never meant to be together, no one wanted it. So...Now life's changed for Kirsty in a big way and she has taken the step to move on! Kirsty will always have the memory of Kane, because she went through so much to stay with him, but if she's made the decision to move on with Miles than hopefully she can still be friends with Kane if and when he gets out!! It isn't really right for Kirsty to move on to Miles without getting officially divorced but Kane did sort of give her his permission that she could move on and that's what she is doing! Kirsty gets on so well with all of the people close to Miles and that's the most important thing! Miles is fantastic with Ollie as he now sees him as a son! If everyone in the bay starts judging Kirsty and Miles because Kirsty has moved on so fast, that might really hurt their relationship ,but for the time-being they are happy and superb for each other! They have both been through the same thing sort of as Miles lost his family and Kirsty lost her Husband to jail! I am loving this sweet storyline, and hope it works for them!
Geminisky: I love this story line, I am a writer myself and see this as a very positive turn for Kirsty. Miles is a great guy and will look after her in a way she deserves. Life is funny with its twists and turns some people don't seem to realise that people can actually grow up emotionally when they go through what Kirsty has been through. I say keep them together, show people that good can come from bad. I am in my mid sixties and the man I was in love with at 17 certainly is not my cup of tea now, neither are a few other's who have come my way over the years. Yes we can love many times, each time we love differently, each teaches something. Then finally something good comes a long to prove all your troubles and struggles were worth it. Go for it Kirsty and Miles. I love it.
Lara: hey i have been a huge fan of kirsty and think that she is a really cool person. i think that miles and kirsty should stay together and see where the relationship goes and as for bartlett wanting to go out with kirsty, he should really just leave the show cause it would be a much better show without him in the picture. keep the episodes going cause i would die if they were not on.

I think even though Kane is in Prison, I think Kristy deserver happiness with Miles. Even though Sally has been a big part of the show and I am going to miss not seeing her every night in the show but I wish Sally the best of luck, but the show is still good without Sally also will Sally return to the show. Amanda: Hi, I've been watching home and away since it first started. I must say i'm not keen on kirsty and miles at all, we can all understand that kane is in jail but i don't really agree with the justification that just because he is in there kirsty can do what she wants and with whom.
Perhaps if that is her intention that she perhaps get divorced from kane otherwise it comes across that it is ok to do what she is doing, i think morally it is not. I would much prefer to see leah and miles together they have a better chemistry then that of kirsty and miles.
Joshua: Being 22 and loyal viewer since I can remember I can honestly say I was worried when it looked as if writers were going to make Miles and Leah an item. Leah is quite honestly very boring. Her life in the Bay has become mundane to say the least and it is just time for her to move on as there is not anything to keep her there. Miles and Kirsty on the otherhand elicit the most chemistry I have seen on the show in at least 5-10 years. I find myself smiling whenever they engage in the playful banter. And with both characters sharing roots in their family history that have been existent in the show for just under 30 years combined, it's also a nice, solid foundation for limitless storylines/arcs at the Caravan Park and SB House. So, basically, bravo on capturing some spark - it certainly has not gone unnoticed and the show is definitely reeping the rewards - keep them together!
Paula: Hey! I think Kirsty and Miles are kinda ok but it would be better if Miles and Leah got together. First off, I didn't watch it when Kirsty and Kane were on it but it sounds to me that they were complete soul mates and went through a lot to be together, so she shouldn't be moving on that fast from Kane. Secondly, Leah and Miles have grown together, and been through a lot together (Dan dying, Sally being shot) so I think she deserves to be with him.

Claire: I know that I speak for not only myself but a large majority of fans when I say that Kirsty shouldn't be with anyone but Kane. So many people were ecstatic when they heard that Kirsty and Kane were returning to the show, but now most of us wish that they hadn't bothered. The whole point of Kirsty and Kane's relationship was that they stuck together no matter what, which the writers acknowledged by giving them a happy (or at least semi-happy) ending the first time round. What was the point of bringing them back just to ruin all of that? If something isn't broken, don't try to fix it. Kirsty and Miles are a nice enough couple but they will never have the iconic status of Kirsty and Kane, and having Kirsty fall in love with someone so soon after Kane left her only serves to cheapen one of the show's classic relationships. I can only hope that Sam Atwell will decide to return as Kane once more so that he and Kirsty can be reunited, and their initial return wasn't in vain.

How could she move on so quickly from Kane, for all the drama’s they went through to be together and how true their love for each other is meant to be & Kirsty just moves onto Miles just like that. Smita: This is the first time i’ve felt a need to write in about a story line, i’ve been watching home and away for years and on the whole really enjoy it. In general i think the show deals very well with most issues. In this instant though i find the kirsty and miles story line in really bad taste. Having shown sensitivity with both leah and sally taking their time to move on from their husbands i find the fact that kirsty has moved on so quickly both unrealistic and in poor taste. The fact that she is still married is not the issue for me as she has no contact with her husband who has made it clear he wants her to move on. However the fact that she did so quickly unfortunately casts a bad light on the character of kirsty, making her seem superficial and uncaring. Incidentally the way she’s being dressed isn’t helping, for a school secretary and a mother her clothes at work are incredibly inappropriate! It’s a real shame because this is the one storyline that is currently making me change the channel.
Lena: I think that Kirsty and Miles are a great couple! But i also feel a bit sad for Leah, because she really wants to be with Miles but she cannot get over Dan's death yet. I still think that Kirsty loves Kane a bit, but is more and more forgetting about him while in relationship with Miles!!!!! Thank You
Bec: For me, the whole Kirsty and Miles thing is kind of weird. I think if you didn't watch H&A back when Kirsty was at school, and when kirsty was with Kane it would be fine! But just knowing here history and everything that she's done i think makes it kind of weird. she sort of come back as this whole different person which works for her, but at the same time, its still Kirsty who ran off into the sunset with Kane while running from the police.
I love Miles. I think he is so sweet. I think he can do better. I Just think with the age gap between Sally and Kirsty-seen as her and mile are twins and all. Is a bit weird. Sally was always so much older, even though they where close friends-it just doesn't work for me.
I would really love to see miles end up with Leah. I love the whole idea of Sally's best friend getting with her brother. how cute. And they are the same age, and juts way better suited. I hope they get together. by the way. Bartlet is creepy.

Bronte: Hi H&A Fans, Miles and Kirsty are great together Miles is a better male for ollie to look up to than Kane because Kanes in jail! Kirsty deserves to be happy and its not like miles and kirsty are getting married. Kane told Kirsty to move on and she has..he even gave back his wedding ring!! Kirsty is made for Miles. and now ollie has an older brother and jai can remember his brother and look after Ollie. I hope it works out for kirsty and miles. and i hope mr bartlett gives up!!!!
