It's all on - Amanda and Jazz are back in town and there's gonna be a scrap, or two! And just as the town gos Colleen put it when she saw Jazz show up at the diner, “as if one trouble maker in the Bay wasn't enough, now we've got two of them!”
So, what is it that makes Amanda and Jazz loath each other and want to get the claws out whenever they are in close proximity? Could it be the simple fact that Amanda slept with Jazz's son, Drew? Or is it just as plain as the old 'I want what she's got' type of jealousy?
A grieving wife's home on the morning of her husband's memorial is no place for a brawl but that's just what happened when Amanda opened the door to find a snarling Jazz on the other side, who had apparently come to offer Leah her condolences. Amanda was desperate to stop Jazz from getting through the front door, and Jazz was desperate not to be stopped, pushing her way past Amanda with aggression and aplomb.
Once inside Jazz took revenge on her blonde rival telling her, “you should show me a little more respect considering you were the one who seduced my teenage son!”
Then Amanda retorts, “you haven't changed have you Jazz!” in which Jazz replies, “unlike you… looks like the years have really started to catch up.”
“Well at least they haven't overrun me!” Amanda shoots back.
SLAP!
SLAP!
In her room Leah hears the commotion outside and emerges to find the girls holding their reddened faces, in total denial of what just occurred in her home - leaving Leah shocked. Later she describes what happened to Sally, adding that she's just lost her husband, her life has been completely turned upside down, and now she has two 'insane' women bickering in her lounge room! Well at least the crazy antics of the two have managed to put a smile on Leah's bemused face.
So what has gotten in to this pair of femme fatales?
Jazz is a tall, slim, brunette with a penchant for the boys and a moral code the size of a peanut. She is Drew's tear away mother whom he has never been able to trust. Her motivations are skewed, her intentions questionable and her past debatable. She's back in town with nothing to lose, and possibly a man to gain. She's trouble with a capital T. So what's the petite, blonde, blue eyed Aussie-babe got to be worried about? Amanda's got the 'perfect' life now. What could Jazz possibly do to shake her solid foundations?
Well whatever it is, Jazz sure does rustle her feathers.
Will these two go head to head in a bid to outshine one another in an all out catfight? Or will newly-mellowed Amanda withdraw from the battle ground in an attempt to retain her recent squeaky-clean image.
Whatever happens we think it's unlikely they'll be finding peace within their feuding walls anytime soon….
The café scene:
Jazz to Drew: “She thinks she's got it all worked out. Detective boyfriend, the son, the daughter, everything's perfect! I could have that. But I don't want it, you know why Drew? Because it's dull. Dull and boring! Darling, I may not be the best Mum in the world but at least I'm honest.
Amanda to Belle: Poor thing. You've got to feel sorry for her. I wouldn't get the mother of the year award but at least I'm better than Jazz!
What do you think? Write in and tell us who you think will come out on top in the catfight between Jazz and Amanda?
Meg: Ha ha this looks like to be a VERY PROMISING storyline! I think Jazz could give Amanda a run for her money. And I hear Jazz is back for Tony. I hope she doesn't get Tony. Rachel is perfect for him. I hope to see some really great scenes here!!! After all, everyone loves a catfight.
BFOA: HeHeHe,I think this is a good storyline, I think that Amanda and Leah will become good friends and take over the caravan park and look after their foster kids. But Jazz and Amanda are doing a good job so far, besides everyone loves cat fight, I have seen the sneak peak, and it was fab, it was emotional to see dan die but jazz and amanda are there to make the show interesting especially AMANDA coz I'm a big fan of her and glad to see her back!
