As part of this year’s campaign people are being asked to visit www.startathome.com.au to find out how they can get involved in one or more of the official KAb Week activities which include:
Reduce waste by running a litter-free challenge during KAB Week.
Reuse empty printer & toner cartridges at Cartridge World stores nationally.
Recycle old or broken mobile phones & accessories at over 1900 drop off points including mobile phone retailers & Cartridge World stores.
Replace two standard light globes for two GE Lighting energy saver globes.
Quote from Sharni
"Working everyday in the outdoors really brings home just how important it is to preserve our environment for the future. Keep Australia Beautiful Week is the perfect time to start making changes in your daily lives to help reduce your impact on the environment. Whether it be reusing or recycling as much as you can to help cut down on the amount of rubbish you produce, reducing your energy and water consumption, or walking more instead of taking the car it will all make a difference. Visit www.startathome.com.au to find out how you can get involved in KAB Week this year"
