Hello Everyone,
Well, it’s certainly been an intense week for Brad, Rocco and me. Rocco’s still denying that he’s back in his brother’s gang, but I’m positive he’s had to rejoin because Johnny probably would have threatened to kill him if he didn’t.
Johnny is dangerous. Brad’s certain that he’s the one who smashed up his apartment and scariest of all, Brad came home a few nights later to find Johnny sitting on his couch!
Brad has only just told me that he once tried to help a good student escape a gang he was involved in, only to be beaten up by the other gang members for ‘interfering’. Poor Brad, he showed me the scar he got for his troubles. He’s putting on a brave face, but with Johnny and the boys intimidating him all the time and Rocco not saying anything, Brad must be really stressed.
Brad seems OK with Rocco staying with us after somebody bashed Rocco and he won’t say who. I want to help Rocco stay on the straight and narrow, so I really hope he wasn’t involved in the break-in at Amanda’s…
Peter went over to Amanda’s to ‘have a word’ about the text message she’d sent Drew (just hours after breaking his heart) and walked in on Amanda being held hostage while a group of men robbed the house! The robbers locked Peter and Amanda in the pantry and they were stuck in there until Dan and Drew found them the next day. Apparently, and this is only a rumour at the moment, Peter has revealed to Amanda that he is addicted to pain killers and Amanda actually wants to help him through it.
A necklace was found at the crime scene that Brad is convinced is Johnny’s, but Johnny (and Rocco) say they’ve never seen it before. Without any more evidence, Ash can’t make an arrest. It’s all a bit frustrating – Johnny seems to be able to do whatever he wants…
In other news, it looks like Martha and Jack are well and truly over as husband and wife. To Jack’s dismay, Martha has taken off her wedding band, but is still spending a lot of time with him, trying to help him through his recovery.
I heard Jack then did something very brave: he told Ash it was OK to pursue Martha, even though it still upsets him that she’s moved on. He’s a good man, Jack, and it’s been sad to see him so down in the dumps lately. I hear he might be turning things around, though.
Jack’s physiotherapist, Sam, who’s a lovely girl, took Jack out to see some of the guys who’ll be in wheelchairs for the rest of their lives. It was a bit of a wake up call for Jack and he’s resolved to work harder at his recovery.
Ric and Matilda are going to have to work hard to regain Beth’s trust after Colleen let slip she’d seen them leaving Alf’s boat early one morning. Mattie had told her mum she was spending the night at Emma’s, not on a boat with Ric! That’s teenagers for you.
Poor Mattie went to the boat thinking she was going to have to sleep with Ric in order to keep him – a thought Belle planted in her head. Those two had a bit of a row this week, with Mattie implying guys only go out with Belle to sleep with her and Belle suggesting Mattie’s a prude.
Ric let Mattie know that he’d invited her on the boat only to spend time with her and the two had a nice night together, which I think they might have to pay for now, considering how angry Beth is that Mattie lied about it. Mattie did however, fess up to Lucas about the fight she had with Belle, which helped him understand why Belle had so suddenly dumped him. Lucas found Belle and explained he wasn’t just out for sex and now it looks like those two are back together again…
But I wonder how Belle will react when she finds out a heavily pregnant Lee is back in town. Gosh, there’s so much going on at the moment! And I hear that Cassie has let Macca take a job as a trucker again. That’s where their troubles started. I hope Macca doesn’t turn back to drugs…
Love Sally.
